BT was fairly clear that Marten was getting the extra shots, he will be most put out if Marten messes up his plan :)

I think we're mostly assuming Marten meant to have the stronger drink himself and give the weaker one to Liz, but maybe it's the other way around? Liz is allowed to get fucked up if she wants to, but Marten might be planning to hold off on the alcohol in order to supervise (and avoid too much of a regret hangover)

Let's be honest. Liz was never going to stop at one drink anyway. Her having a double just saves time standing in line at the bar.

Sniff test? Even a human can probably tell which one has more jet fuel in it. Unless it's long island ice tea. I'm told they are completely stealth

I wonder - would an ice cube in each cup float higher or lower in the high test drink? I’m guessing lower, due to the lower density of alcohol… let’s ~hiccup~ go try it out…

There's a cult Polish comedy "Kiler" about a taxi-driver mistaken for a professional assassin because of his name. In the movie there's a scene of him trying to poison a crime boss with a cup of tea. He makes two cups and mixes poison in the left one. Then he approaches the boss mumbling "lewa jego lewa jego lewa jego-" ("his on the left his on the left his on the left"). Crime boss says he's not thirsty. Ever since seeing the movie I always keep my own cup on the right and have never had Marten's problem.
