Anh’s only actual lesbian attraction so far seems to have been to Hannelore. Frankly, we don’t really have firm confirmation of her bisexuality; her feelings for Hanners were so obviously scrambled by confusion over being outclassed by someone *nice* that I’d question anything she concluded at that time. She did have that strange bondage/sub fantasy, which came out of nowhere, though. I still think she needs to be properly introduced to Pintsize.

So unless Faye's hair is actually smoldering, this *would* be an example of Jeph-the-artist using the visual trope rather than drawing what was the characters were experiencing in world. (This fails to explain another example that might be on both sides of the line - https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1445 - the giant "SCORN!" seems purely representative, while the reactions imply Angus really did go flying?)

I'm wondering how come Faye and Bubbles struggle so much if no-one else is really doing what they do (it seems), but based on the past few strips I expect that the "competition" is companies like FutureLife who want to gatekeep repairs of their tech and will discourage body owners from going elsewhere, either via threat of voided warranty or just marketing language about how they offer the most appropriate care.

Faye and Bubbles' business struggles have been a thread that's been around for a long time. They're excellent at what they do, but it's clearly a tough market. There does seem to be a real untapped need for robot mechanics - it feels like the worst of both worlds between the medical and auto industries. So this really could be an opportunity for them to turn things around and start something bigger. Anh being the daughter of a robotics magnate doesn't feel like a coincidence, and her pretty decent customer service and outrage over a "shoddy" (almost certainly corner-cutting) product places her in a decent spot to help out.
