Thanks! I think I’m getting somewhere, although it’s still a little bizarre… When I switch from “posts you have access to“ to “all posts“, I see another 145 posts are there, but how I can access the other 145 posts, since the filter strongly suggests that they are posts I actually DON’T have access to … 🧐 I guess I’ll just start from the very first QC comic, and see if I eventually get to Patreon-only posts, such as that entire “Hannelore leaves town and goes on a long adventure“ arc. This is the second time I’ll read QC from the very beginning. the first time I started from the very beginning, was when I was in the hospital for a few weeks, a few years ago. QC was really good for me to have something to think about besides my unfortunate medical condition at the time (since then, completely resolved, thank goodness for modern surgical practices!)

Which tier are you subscribed to? If you're just subscribed for $1/month, you just get to see the comics early, and Jeph is on a break this month. If you are at one of the higher tiers, there are posts that are patreon exclusive, and you can see them by going to Jeph's Page, clicking on posts, and then clicking on the filter button, and then going down and clicking the radio button next to the tier that you're subscribed to and press apply filter to see the stuff associated with that tier.

Yay is already in the comic by this point! That's why Roko says "the case is closed" (she's referring to what happened with the robot fighting ring). They showed up to zap Corpse Witch into oblivion and then disappeared. Roko is still in the police force here, and we won't see Yay again until she quits, plus at this point Yay is still called Spookybot and doesn't have a name yet. But they're already in the comic.

@BookBeard: I've known enough good cops to feel Isaac was correct. Maybe what we saw of her career was going well. But sooner or later, good cops tend to stumble over something that will get them fired if they're lucky or get them killed if they're not. Sometimes they're just steered into being the ones to take the biggest risks because the other cops are afraid that they'll stumble onto something.

I have posted before that I'm a late-comer to QC, but I have fallen in love with the characters and story -- both of which are quirky enough to be realistic and fun. PLEASE keep taking time for yourself and recharging. You are a gifted artist and writer (not that those are different), but I've loved the evolution of the drawing/art as well as the expanding and meandering story line. I can't wait to see where you take it next !!

I'm also glad Roko's coppin days are over - especially since part of the epiphany was thanks to May basically bullying her into quitting - bc the only kind of cop storyline I like is when said cop realizes they should stop bein a cop. :p Plus it really did open up such a huge range of other stories to be told.
