Marten's middle name is canonically and specifically NOT Tiberius because his father refused to allow his mother to so name him. https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1835 I wrote that with a rather tongue-in-cheek middle name that Henry might find more acceptable (since he married a guy with that name). Jeph may be able to enlighten us, but I don't believe he's done so. if he has, @Bookbeard may be able to help.

I realized something interesting today. If you count this Marten and Claire moving to Canada thing back to the comic strip Claire did the phone interview (4856). This has gone on 518 strips, which considering there are 260 Weekdays in a year , that means this has gone on about... 2 Years. Also this comic strip is almost 21 years old. Soon it will be old enough to drink in the U.S.

Fair point! I was thinking of it as an attraction to typical robots, but you're right that he's into humans too and Moray is sort of between. That said, I don't think the experimenting "weird things" is brand new, caused by the watermelon and oven mitts with May. He's admitted before to having done some wacky shit, even in this night's comic!

Ok I'm probably overthinking this, but Moray is SO extremely different from standard AIs that, to me, I wouldn't think the preference for robots would "carry over," so to speak. They are just in such a different class of type of existence. If the "normal" (metal and plastic, assuming) humanoid AI are what Sven's into, it doesn't make sense to me for him to also be into what is a essentially a pile of gloop in the shape of a lady. (Which I say with the utmost love for Moray, given how delightful and funny she is.)
