Catching up on these intros, and yesss, my girlfriend of a few years chews with her mouth open! She didn't even believe it at first, until I showed her how I chew. She finds it physically difficult to chew without opening her mouth. 😂 Like her sibling couldn't bully it out of her, it's never going to change, so I try not to let it annoy me lol.

At your core you both are a blend of Lara Croft and Indiana Jones. Your deep dives every episode have the quality of research made for PhD thesis, and the non-zero possibility of spontaneously going off the rails. Nat gives more go with the flow energy, like the hippies of the Woodstock years (69 not 99). I mean, it would be the most Nat thing to have a warrant out for her arrest for shrooms, allegedly. Aly gives the most Sagittarius/ Capricorn cusp energy, honest, optimistic combined with a hard working and loyal attitude. Overall it is your friendship that I most admire about the podcast.

Okay, I’m back as a Patron after a brief financial hiatus and thankfully I’m just in time for this rant. Nat, I’m on your side even though it’s not a phobia. 1) I don’t know what mouth noises this person is referring to 2) If anything, I want more noises. I want LGH ASMR ASAP 3) It’s a free podcast. Grow up! Reminds me a bit of an executive I worked with who said she hated to see or hear people eat, yet she continually scheduled Zoom meetings during usual lunch times. So people would feel weird about eating, and would mute and turn off cameras and say “sorry, I’m eating.” Meanwhile, this same executive was always eating on camera and talking with her mouth full. So basically she just likes to make people uncomfortable? I found it rude as hell.

I relate to both of you so much, I took it straight up personal that anyone dared to say you two are in any way unclear about who you are or what you're about. Aly, you are everyone's HR, obviously. I will say this- I haven’t subscribed to any podcast’s Patreon for as long as I have subscribed to you two ladies. Why you ask? Because y’all are REAL. You make me feel seen and heard and not as weird as I think I am at times. Your humor is one of a kind and like Aly said in the beginning, it’s your dynamic and the way that you guys bring different yet super compatible energy to the table. But let’s try this object/color/description thing: Nat -you are a pair of those oval sunglasses from the 90’s/early 2000’s that have the pointed corners and are thick plastic with bright colors and dark tint (iykyk) -You are also like a beautiful spikey colorful cactus that people are tempted to get closer to to examine it’s beauty, but will not because it may hurt -I also feel like you’re like a super shiny spur made to protect its boot, which is functional and also stylish at the same time. Aly -I see fairy wings and mushrooms galore -also see a clipboard and lots of fun activities listed on it -and I see a beautiful delightful flower that sits atop Nat’s spikey cactus (that is you)

This comment is so long, I'm so sorry. Honestly I think Nat's rant it still valid, if you have a personal thing about sounds, dont listen to a podcast and leave a shit review because of your own issues. I'm sorry y'all are having to make changes because of negative reviews - including how you present yourselves?! I think a lot of us love the podcast so much because you guys are just yourselves and have great natural chemistry. Sucks that some people apparently don't get that, but I know yall want (and deserve!) to be successful. So if I had to surface-level pidegonhole you , the first thing that comes to mind is Aly gives Luke Skywalker (charming, more of the straight-man) and Nat gives Han Solo (charismatic, a lil more chaotic [positive]). Obv you both are layered people with WAY more to you than that, but for marketing/branding, that's what I'd say.
