something else u can do w the scraps is make ur own compost fertilizers and compost teas! get 2 trash cans, fill 1 w ur compost materials (if u wanna feed the animals just put ur small food scraps in here like peels and skins and stuff) with some blue and red wigglers (compost worms). once it starts composting, put a scoop of it in the other trash can filled with water. get an air stone (they’re pretty cheap) and run that through the compost and water mixture, after a couple of days u’ll have a tea that has basically every nutrient u need to feed ur plants :) and u’ll still be able to toss some bigger stuff into the yard for the animals! easy and basically free way to grow anything. i’ve even used this method with weed lmao

My favourite thing about winter is less bugs lol. I'm living in Tokyo atm and we don't get the big spiders here like in the countryside but there are these black spiders that jump and I want to set the house on fire whenever I see one in my room. But I haven't seen any since September!!!!!
