You have excellent eyesight because holy shit! I would’ve never been able to see it. I don’t know why owls have become synonymous with spooky shit but I’ve always found them gorgeous and fascinating. One time I was dropping off my friend home and it was dark out and Florida suburbs are like a wolf’s mouth at night. Can’t see nothin’ and there was an owl 🦉 on a mailbox and it was so still we thought her neighbors had installed it while we were out and when I tell you we fucking lost it when it suddenly came to life and took off, reflective eyes flashing in the dark. It took us like a good 20 mins to calm down after the sheer terror and then hilarity/wheeze laughing. They’ve always had a special place in my heart since 😂
