I currently living abroad on a working holiday, so all of my friendships are international atm lol. But my friend Kayla from the States (I'm from Canada) we write letters to each other and sometimes make and send art to each other. We've never actually met in real life. We just hit it off online and decided to be real friends lol

one of my best friends of 10 years lives in mexico and i’m in the states! we send each other care packages, have movie nights, and text all the time! it’s hard but very doable

I am the friend that moved internationally in my case and sadly have lost contact with many friends from back home. It was just too difficult with the timezones and it takes a lot of will power imho. But I am sure it is doable in many cases! You making her letters like this is soo cute and I am sure if you put this much effort into staying in contact with them then this friendship will continue 🥰
