Everything is so pretty when it blooms, and there are baby birds and deer frolicking and it’s GORGEOUS… BUT HOW DO WE DEAL WITH THE ALLERGIES? Georgia has the worst pollen I’ve ever seen- you can literally see everything is covered in pollen. I’ve never had allergies in my life ,how do I combat this? I took Benadryl last night but it didn’t stop. I’m sneezy and there is gunk in my ears/nose/throat. Does it last forever? When does it go away? I need motivation to go on further. Am I too soft for Georgia life?

Funny enough that green dust you see every where is pine pollen. That's not what giving you a hard time. Flower and weed pollen are kicking your butt. Over the counter nasal spray and oral meds should help. If not see your dr for rx meds.

When allergies hit me (I’m not even sure what the fuck I’m allergic too, but it’s NY so take your pick) I just wash my face, run water over my eyes, and take a ton of Claritin. Good luck!

I'm in SoCal, but I grew up in Texas. No issue with allergies in Texas. But here? OMG. I'm dying, and it sucks. At least you can see the pollen, point to it for proof. I don't get that. Been taking benadryl daily to help.

Best thing to do is in the mornings is use one of those neti pots with warm Saleen water. Get out all the dirt from the sinuses

I moved to NC four years ago and saaaame. As other people have said, use a ✨🌸steroid nose spray 🌸✨. And then between xyzal, Zyrtec, and Allegra—you have to find the one that works for you. But take one of those and *pls don’t skip the nasal spray* (I do the Costco one bc hoes save money)

After spending a lifetime around dogs (including owning a dog wash) I found out I'm allergic to dogs and pretty much all of nature. Lolz but I refuse to give up animals or mother nature so I take (offbrand) of Claritin liquid gels, and do a nasal spray every day. I use to get allergy shots, if you have the money and time it made a noticeable difference for me!

It if gets bad enough to fuck with your sinuses, get some of the behind-the-counter sudafed. I have to do it like every spring cos the oak pollen is the woooorst 🙃
