Nat Visits Borse at Rehab Vlog
🕑 Added 2023-04-13 02:20:13 +0000 UTCIn the most recent ep (140.5 Listener Stories #19) we talked about how I decided to go into overdrive on my own horse's care - this vlog represents the beginning of that new endeavor. I had fun making this vlog and feel nostalgic for simpler times when I used to make vlogs about *rEaL LiFe*. Thanks for giving me a safe space to do that again, slay.
For the horse ppl:
1. Borse is underweight bc he lost weight on the trip from LA to GA, he is at a rehab barn gaining weight steadily. Floating his teeth is part of the plan as well!
2. I ALREADY TRIED TO GO BAREFOOT AND THAT DID NOT WORK BC BORSE HAS LOW HEELS THAT LED TO TRAUMA IN THE FOOT. WE ALREADY GREW OUT THE FEET AND ARE TRIMMING THEM WITH A FARRIER AND THE XRAYS TO CHANGE THE ANGLES, HE IS GETTING NEW WEDGES TO LIFT THE HEELS. IM TRIGGERED ABOUT THIS BAREFOOT THING BC I REALLY WANTED IT TO WORK BC I WANNA BE CHILL LIKE THAT BUT THE VET SAID ITS NOT FOR BORSES.
3. The vet approved borse for tacked walks only a few days ago so his topline and frame are very underwhelming, but there is worse sh*t on the local news.
