I have successfully, finally, seen the video intro all the way thru. (Listened to it already, but watch them late at night.) The Apollo 1... Scenario? I loved that episode, and am so sad that the ghost man is trying to keep our favorite haunties down. I was just in Alabama last week, and had a chance to go to the Space & Rocket Museum. They had Apollo 1 there. And our hero, Gus Grissom, was on display. They had his backup training suit. And used his quote about working in a risky business. Because of this podcast, I was able to connect better to our history and to our haunted fallen hero. Thank you for an awesome episode! Keep up the good work! Despite the algorithm, we Haunties will always find and support you guys. ❤️

James E trolled the entire lgh community haha. I will never be able to not think about that song now. I also had no idea what bingus was and I’m only 27 haha. Defo not just y’all who didn’t know haha. Shirtwaist fire definitely needs its own episode, and other tragedies just like that. I went on this gangsters and ghosts tour in Chicago- and almost the same exact thing happened to the Iroquois Theatre there. It was full of people wall to wall, and people sitting on the floor. A fire broke out and nobody could escape. The police had to block each end of the alley off with curtains so other citizens couldn’t see the hundreds of burned bodies being taken out for identification/burial. 602 deaths. Just horrific.

Yesss the triangle shirtwaist factory fire! That’s one of those things that’s stuck with me forever, but it seems most people don’t know about it. Whenever Im about to open an unfamiliar door and I don’t know if it’s pull or push, I remember that because of the triangle shirtwaist factory, doors have to open outwards to avoid people crushing against the door and not being able to open it. That thought process goes through my head every time.
