I agree waters should in deep waters. Every serious war we fight our old generals get sacked until we find the genocidal maniac. Ulysses S. Grant invented total war. Curtis LeMay fire bombed half of Japan. By the end of the North Korean war he estimated he had killed 2/3 of the North Korean people. War does not allow you to ignore the worker, and it rewards you handsomely for brutality. The modern morals are just that, modern and therefore useless without superiority which is a stretch considering the Buns almost genocided Earth.

It's better to talk about such things beforehand, when they haven't happened yet and are still in an undetermined state, because it draws the author's attention to them and increases the chance of avoiding them. +just one of those things that I don't like has just happened.

i dont normally engage with paragraph posts, but id just like to point out that you are making a LOT of assumptions. just wait to complain till it comes true ,then be upset. i personally think there are MANY other things that could happen.

This chapter really made me angry; -I really hate this kind of flaunting of moral superiority, in and of itself -This kind of scolding usually involves later pulling out plot armor, in order to avoid consequences and show that a stupid and illogical, but "morally right" decision was the right one. -This kind of attitude is a kind of luxury, reserved for powers waging war only with a 3rd league opponent (after all, the fact that Amelia fought rebels/pirates her whole life makes this attitude understandable, but it doesn't make it any less stupid/annoying). -In the meantime, they are in a state of total war with an overwhelming enemy, where they have to throw everything they have, and half of what they don't have, not even to win, but simply to survive. And now I will try to describe why Earth is in deep shit; We've gotten very little information about the entire Znosian Dominion, but they're a huge empire with at least a few hundred systems, fighting an expansionist war on all their borders. The Terrans may have managed to break 1 front, but one of what, 10? 15? 20? Now the attention of all of Znosi will be on them, they'll pull in line units from other fronts and basically be able to prepare another few grand fleets basically on the fly... I don't really see a chance for the Terrans to survive this... And what about them? And they're worried about moral superiority, humanitarianism, and civilian casualties among the support staff building weapons... As if that were more important than the survival of their species. Sorry for my outburst, but it's because I really like this story and I care about it...

Such a deal is at least worth considering. But could the Allies reload and draw quicker than the Buns?
