Figure Drawing: Week 3

You can tell how upset I was at how I boned the anatomy in the middle drawing :l I was very angry at the huge head and the long arms and suddenly the torso and everything-else is super tiny?? god!! What is this!! That kicked me into shape and I tried a little harder with the next sketch. I tried to be extra conscious about the proportions.
Sometimes as you’re doing quick-sketches for 1-2 minute poses you just completely mess up like that. It’s good to keep leaning back and seeing the entire figure on the paper rather than pressing yourself really close to it, GOTTA SEE THE BIG PICTURE. OR ELSE YOU GET FIGURES THAT JUST MELT AWAY AND BECOME TINY.
You can see I’m beginning to number them, I’m trying to make it helpful for you guys ;__; Middle one starts the 2-minute gestures, so that means everything before that were the 1s. It makes me feel a little less awful about that anatomical abomination before.
UNTIL I GET TO HERE. Stop making the heads so big!! Dumbass!! You can do it in BCB because of the actual style but not in real life!!! Idiot!!
