Figure Drawing: Week 15

LET’S BEGIN.
Trying to squish the 1-minute sketches into a page now, really wanting to focus on body parts rather than haphazardly drawing the entire figure. If I can draw the whole figure I take that chance, but sometimes a limb will just look too interesting and I end up focusing on that, so that’s what happened here!
The 2s! I wasn’t trying to be a cheapskate with the bottom-right drawing! I didn’t rotate the page to fit the pose, Sebastian actually DID a freaken hand-stand here because he is that intense of a model!
The 5s! Even though Sebastian is awesome, man do I struggle to draw him. THERE’S JUST SO MUCH HAPPENING. People studying muscles and tendons and limbs would find him an absolute dream (As one of the instructors expressed lmao), but I’m just a baby ;_; who can’t into muscles
The 10s!
He sat behind a block :’( There’s blocks you can use to prop yourself up and I was just unlucky where I was sitting haha
Back to the 2s! I wanted to focus on his neck/collarbone in one of the drawings because that’s a segment of the body I still have a lot of trouble understanding. IT GIVES ME HELL.
I’m a mess
I like how this 20-minute pose turned out, and wanted to practice a bit with the angle of his foot :O I DON’T GET TO PRACTICE FEET TOO MUCH WITH BCB :l;
Oh what a mess, I’m so sorry Sebastian.
I actually don’t mind the way the lineart looks, it looks super rough and that’s because I got SUPER MAD AT THIS DRAWING AND ERASED SO MUCH OF THE LINEART and then just sketched over in broad strokes. It looked kind of cool as a result, I know confident strokes are what you should be doing in figure drawing :l; I guess the quick strokes came after RIGHTEOUS ANGER.
And we’re done!
