Tried to be more flowy with these 1-minute sketches. Loved the angle of bottom-right :-[ He stood on a platform.
The 2s! I was able to do a little bit of shading on the first body :-[ But not that much, it’s a pretty limited amount of time!
The 5s!
The 10s! I like how cool it looks to have the head scratched out, but that was absolutely not fancy pro-strats artistic intention :-[ Sebastian actually regretted this pose about five minutes into it because he didn’t have a good pillow to prop his head.. so he was using his neck to elevate it and thought he could just deal with the entire ten minutes. POOR GUY, I wouldn’t have been able to last ten seconds.
So when the instructor brought him a pillow and he got to relax, the angle of his head completely changed.. so I just erased the head entirely lol, it was different enough that it woulda looked weird to just continue.
I actually really like how this 20-minute pose turned out, especially the shadows on his face. Looks so looming and mysterious!
Back to the 2s!
Regrets were had with these 5s.
Here’s the 40-minute pose! This was a frustrating one because he moved very slightly after the break (It’s 20mins, then 5 minute break, then 20mins) and that kinda messed up all the sketching I did in the initial 20-minutes :l; I tried to instead practice with shading, but it just looks overdone and he looks like a burn victim. I HATE DOING THAT, I gotta accept that less is more sometimes gdigkhdkfgh
I tried to use the remaining time to practice sketching his torso again and doing some more.. subtle shading practice.
