🕑 Added 2023-06-15 10:58:24 +0000 UTCAfter a decade-plus of development hell, dozens of directors, writers, scripts, retoolings, a global Pandemic and a lead-actor's INTERNATIONAL CRIME SPREE; the most interesting thing that can maybe be said about "THE FLASH" is that - after all that - it somehow manages to wriggle out from under its hefty but compelling extra baggage to stand up on its own as… actually just a completely average, unremarkable superhero movie.

I have no plans on seeing the movie. But I'm wondering what's the "non-CGI punchline they chose to end on as a HAHA to decades of toxic internet fandom" is. Bob wants to avoid spoilers and I respect that. So if someone wants to DM me the spoiler, thank you.
So...it would have been fine under normal circumstances but is, with all that went into getting it made, just a massive waste of time. At least, that's what I'm hearing.
