WIP - Magitech
🕑 Added 2023-12-20 14:47:18 +0000 UTCHere are some sketches for the next creature based on the prompt: Magitech.
Since the note from the Archivist is "Switching Element", I decided to make a gargantuan machine with multiple engines that can generate/connect to energy from multiple different elemental planes. I came up with several different directions.
The first one was a beholder, But I had already made a number of beholder creatures. The second one is a T-Rex-like machine that ends up looking like Metal Gear Rex, I like this one particularly because of the neck part, its turbine-like contraption on its neck that spins when it's about to shoot out the energy, and the anatomy just looks strange. The last one is an ooze with the massive elemental conduit engine as its core. The arm concept is similar to the t-rex one. The ooze will also change color/texture when it switches engine/element. This last one will make it a biomechanical creature, which is quite interesting~
I am honestly not sure which one to go with, either the Ooze or the T-rex. So, let me know what you think/like more~

they all too good ideas... i'd say go with the ooze because its different from most things you've done, and hold onto the malfunctioning trex golem for later

Makes me think of Thunderjaws from Horizon Zero Dawn. Except actually a threat to you and a party
