Arashi Yagatake 13th Anniversary! / 100,000 followers on Twitter!
🕑 Added 2023-05-15 14:48:07 +0000 UTCOur original character "Arashi Yagatake" celebrated her 13th anniversary since her debut (birthday) on May 15th, 2010! Wait... Thirteen years already...!?
Every year she continues to change in some way, and in 2022 she had her long bangs cut, a small change but a big change for me. Drawing her really restores my motivation to create, and I want to continue drawing her, but I feel that I am not able to convey her charm at all because I draw so few pictures of her.
So now I am thinking of making a manga with her as the main character. The idea of making a manga has been around for a long time, but I was hesitant to do it until I had a clear picture of her character in my mind, and since I rarely draw manga, the hurdle was too high for me. However, I recently realized that it is more important to do it vigorously than just not to publish forever, so I decided it was time to move on.
This is just a statement to give myself a push, as I am still in the idea phase. I'm not used to making comics at all, so I won't be able to do it right away... I will definitely, definitely do it this year if possible, or next year at the latest.
And on another platform, I finally reached 100,000 followers on Twitter, which I have been doing for 14 years! I mean, 14 years already...! Scary...scary....
So, please continue to support my beloved "Arashi"!
