Hi sweetie, hope all is well! xx I've just done some testing and it looks like cooktops no longer work in game if they are placed on any surface (i've tested all cooktops I have from various creators). The game just sees them as regular stoves so they can't intersect objects. If you place the cooktop by itself (so it floats) - it works. I can think of a few options here: 1) you can replace one of the fridges with the inbuilt oven (like the one from my Broome set); 2) you can replace one of the counters with an actual stove; 3) probably no really viable but if you place the cooktop on an empty square somewhere out of sigh, his could also work. But looks like this is the end of me using cooktops :(

Hi, SimspirationBuilds. I previously asked this question in one of your recent posts, but I realize now that I should have asked it here. I have a sim living in this stunning cottage, but she's unable to access the stove. Although I can click on the stove and select 'prepare a meal,' it does not allow for food preparation. Your help is greatly appreciated, as I am fond of this home and would prefer not to remodel the kitchen.
