"What?" George called in from the dining room where he was clearing the table with Penelope’s help.
Julie’s pulse quickened and she turned, but no one was in the kitchen with her. She turned off the sink and put her hands on her hips. That was odd. She could have sworn somebody gave her butt a little smack.
