Chapter 8 Early Release
🕑 Added 2024-10-31 04:00:14 +0000 UTCBOO!!
Happy Halloween!! This year, your treat is a new chapter of Evoria!! It's even spooky-themed, so it fits! This one's a lot less complex than Chapter 7 with its crazy big city hijinks, but it's a whole lotta fun! Plus there's a bunch of lore and character development! Yay!
On the sad side of things, unfortunately old saves won't work on this version. That means that any save from before version 0.8.0 will not be compatible from here on out! There's some mechanical changes with the new gulp skill and the pixel movement, so if you try and load an old save, things get buggy pretty fast. The good news is that I've updated the saves in the Evoria Chapter Select folders, added a save to start right before the start of Chapter 8, and another one that has everything so far 100% complete, for all you completionists out there!
SeaBea also went all-out for this chapter, I know he's mentioned it before but Chapter 8 has the highest amount of scene art out of any chapter, clocking in at 47 pieces of scene art!! Plus, this really is some of his best stuff, it's amazing!!!
The next update for the game won't be Chapter 9 just yet, I'm planning on releasing a sidequest update to add in a bunch of fun sidequests set between chapters 8 and 9! With the sidequests, things are gonna be a lot zanier and less lore-heavy, so get hyped for that!! (Plus we may see a very special long sidequest that Archie had been talking about in that update too...)
But that's getting ahead of myself- Chapter 8 is out now and I hope you all like it!
Here's an extra link to the Chapter Select so you can download a save to start where you left off!

I hope you enjoy it!! There's gonna be a typical "How was it?" post tomorrow, so get your thoughts ready!

My fault, I was so excited that I either read the post as well as I should, and forgot that you said it already in one of your commentary videos. But all good now!

That's an error from using an old save haha, try using one from the Evoria Chapter Select!!

That's a side effect from using an older save haha, if you use one of the saves from the Chapter Select it should work better!!

I not long finished the newest chapter and I have to say thank you F.P. and SeaBea another fantastic addition to this already amazing series I really loved this chapter from SeaBea's awesome artwork and animations to your level design and the atmosphere this chapter had just amazing and just in time for Halloween 🎃 also mainly focusing on Mitzi and Renee was a great decision not to besmirch Naomi at all but them both coming to terms with each other and both helping each other just seeing them gorge out together was awesome and Mitzi work through her emotional baggage and her seeing that she can be good but also that she can atone immediately was done very well also I might be seen as odd for this I think I might ship Renee and Mitzi now xD haha they weirdly have great chemistry chaotic but seem to gel well together I know its crazy after everything that's happened between them both but then again that's the whole message of this chapter at least I my eyes redemption of oneself but once again for another amazing chapter F.P. and SeaBea
