Chapter 435 Dessert Shop
🕑 Added 2025-08-24 15:11:41 +0000 UTCWhen coming out of the LV store, Nanaya was carrying a lot of things, big and small bags.
At this time, Nanaya really missed the humane brother Iioka behind Shion.
He wanted to ask others to help him get something, but he just couldn't bring himself to say it.
Originally, Ori was a very suitable candidate.
However, Nanaya, this capable junior brother, was dragged away by Shion as soon as he walked out of the store.
As for Shiki who was following Nanaya...
Nanaya still couldn't make up his mind to let a girl carry things.
"Hey, Senior~"
"what?"
When Nanaya heard Shiki's sweet voice, his eyebrows jumped.
Shiki rubbed her hands and said, "Look, I just accompanied you to the bag store..."
Nanaya raised his eyebrows. He didn't know what this girl was going to do next.
So he quickly tried to stop the other person from speaking: "Didn't I buy you a gift?"
Nanaya not only bought bags for the other girls, he also bought a bag for each of the two people in the Ryougi family.
But in order to conceal their tracks, when the few people came out, Ori was holding Shiki's women's bag, while Shiki was holding the men's bag that Nanaya bought for Ori.
"Well, didn't we always talk about going to a dessert shop?" Shiki showed a yearning expression on her face, "There is a shop that I really want to try."
"Which one?"
"Toshi Yoroizuka."
The name that came out of Shiki made Nanaya's mouth twitch.
Although he had guessed that Shiki was going to blackmail him, he didn't expect the other party to be so ruthless and cut his aorta with a knife.
"You really are..."
Nanaya said somewhat weakly. If he wasn't holding things in both hands, he would have held his forehead with his hand.
"Well, if we're going to do it, we're going to do the best." Shiki seemed very proud. "Besides, so many people are watching now. You're a big director, can't you even afford a little dessert?"
Nanaya glanced at the long dragon following behind him.
Compared to the beginning, the number of people behind him has shrunk from hundreds to dozens.
The reason was that when Ori and Shion came out of the jewelry store, they didn't have rings on their hands.
The presence of a ring means that someone has won, which is big news that can give everyone a boost.
Since there is no ring, it means that this battle will definitely not have a clear outcome today.
As a result, many people have lost interest in watching the live broadcast.
After all, there are still people in TV stations. Isn't it better to go home and lie on the sofa to read gossip news than to stand in the cold wind on the street?
So after wishing those hard-working reporters well and hoping that they would not give up halfway, most of the onlookers chose to leave.
However, there are still many people who choose to stay, and these people are all die-hard fans of Ori.
"Hey, senior." Shiki was so excited that she couldn't stop. She pulled Nanaya's arm and whispered, "You don't want these fans to say that you abused your cute little sister, do you?"
"I don't see any direct connection between eating desserts and abuse." Nanaya rolled his eyes and said, "And the little apprentice sister in their concept is not you, right?"
"Kukuku~"
Shiki proudly raised her little nose, "What do you think will happen if I walk directly into the ladies' room now? This way, they will know that I am Ori, and Ori is me~"
"...You are cruel."
This sounds confusing, but Nanaya certainly knows the threat behind it.
Once everyone has confirmed Ori's identity, the relationship between him and Ori will be confirmed.
After all, Shion has been with the boy from the Ryougi family for so long, no one would think that they are innocent.
The whole team consists of two men and two women. If one pair is confirmed, then isn’t the other pair also confirmed?
More importantly, Nanaya has been arguing with Shiki in public for so long. Once Shiki's identity is confirmed, he will be in the process of confessing himself.
"Do you really want to eat that much?"
"Of course, I've always wanted to eat at Toshi Yoroizuka!"
Shiki heard the tone of surrender in Nanaya's words, and she danced excitedly and said, "Senior, do you know that? That devil Ori actually wanted me to eat bitter soba noodles in Kyoto for the entire New Year! Even my father only eats that once a year! This is simply murder! Cry, cry~~"
"I know, I know." Nanaya admitted, "But that store is crowded. Especially today is the year-end holiday, we may have to queue for a long time, are you sure you want to go?"
"I'm sure I'll do anything as long as I can eat Toshi Yoroizuka!"
Shiki said excitedly, she waved to Shion in front of her and told them that they were going to change direction.
"Hey? That restaurant." Shion also showed an interested look, "I've been in the United States for so long, I miss it a little bit. Then let's go eat together~"
What else could Nanaya say? Her Majesty the Queen had already agreed, so he could only follow suit.
Toshi Yoroizuka is a very famous Japanese dessert shop. If you look at the tourist food recommendations in Tokyo, Japan, this shop in Roppongi is definitely a must-see high-end dessert shop in the dessert area.
This store has maintained a record of having long queues every day since it opened. Basically, countless people who come here to visit form long queues in front of the store every day.
Moreover, this store in Roppongi, Tokyo is not the main store, but the second branch of the chain.
The first time Nanaya knew about this store had nothing to do with Japan, but because Toshi Yoroizuka had a branch in the capital of China.
As Toshi Yoroizuka's first overseas branch, the Teito store did a lot of promotion when it first opened.
Nanaya was filming a movie in the capital with a crew at the time, and he wanted to give it a try.
However, he was discouraged by the long queue of customers.
Reluctant to give up, he tried to call to reserve a seat, but during the call, Nanaya was discouraged for the second time by the exorbitant price.
Because of being persuaded to leave twice in a row, Nanaya still has an impression of this dessert shop.
Of course, Nanaya was discouraged by Toshi Yoroizuka’s price because he was extremely poor in his previous life.
With his current income in this life, he certainly can't afford even a dessert.
Although the charges of this restaurant are indeed completely consistent with the Michelin three-star sign.
It was simply because the impression of what happened in the past was so deep that in Nanaya's subconscious, this dessert shop with a strange name was synonymous with expensive.
The name of the restaurant Toshi Yoroizuka comes from the restaurant's head chef, Toshihiko Kaizuka.
The life of this dessert chef can be completely described by a passionate comic. He started working as a full-time dessert chef at the age of 23. At the age of 30, he went to Europe for training. He spent 7 years in various European countries learning dessert techniques. During this period, he worked as a dessert chef in the three-star Michelin French restaurant Bruneau in Belgium. He was also the first Japanese dessert chef in Europe to work as a Michelin restaurant.
After returning to Japan, the dessert shop Toshi Yoroizuka opened by Toshihiko Kaizuka became extremely popular and was unsurprisingly included in the list of Michelin three-star restaurants.
This dessert master is not only successful in his career, but also has a very rich emotional life. His wife is the famous Japanese actress Naomi Kawashima, who once starred in "Paradise Lost".
If Naomi Kawashima had not passed away due to illness in 2015, Kaizuka Toshihiko could probably be said to have had a complete life.
Um, that's not right.
Nanaya remembered that this dessert chef seemed to have hooked up with Kanako Nishikawa after his wife died.
[This guy is indeed a prototype of the protagonist. If this is a food comic, would it be some kind of cheat for the protagonist teacher? ]
Thinking of this, Nanaya looked at Toshi Yoroizuka's sign and fell into deep thought.
For some reason, he felt jealous of the dessert chef.
Fortunately, after seeing Shion beside him, Nanaya's jealousy disappeared instantly.
After all, when it comes to appearance, my own Shion will always be the best one.
Cough cough.
Back to the topic of dessert.
One of the biggest selling points of Toshi Yoroizuka is that the desserts are made to order, and customers can even watch the production process of the desserts they ordered.
Watching your favorite dessert being made bit by bit is simply an ultimate enjoyment for those who love desserts.
But it is precisely because of this handmade method that this store is very slow in serving customers, which is another factor that leads to long queues.
As for the made-to-order model, is it to ensure the quality of the desserts, or is it a hunger marketing strategy that deliberately slows down the pace?
As for this kind of thing, it can only be said that different people have different opinions.
Anyway, based on Nanaya's business experience over the past few years, he should have both.
But which one has a larger proportion? I guess only the chef with a rich emotional life knows.
Just as Nanaya thought, the line in the restaurant today was much longer than usual.
Looking at the nearly 100-meter-long line, Nanaya even wondered if the people who had left and followed the line earlier had all come to eat dessert, which was why the line in this store was so long.
"I say, why don't you just call Iioka to line up for us?"
"It's New Year's Day, you should at least let them rest for a while." Shion rolled her eyes, "It's a rare opportunity, so I might as well take this opportunity to experience the life of the common people."
"Yeah, yeah." Shiki nodded his head, agreeing with what Shion said: "Let's just line up. Judging from the speed, it won't take too long."
"It won't take too long. It will take at least an hour."
Nanaya said in a mocking tone.
"Cakes are only delicious when they are freshly made! What if the best time has passed and the cream has melted?"
【Did you mistake cream for ice cream? 】
But no matter how much Nanaya complained, he still joined the team with Shion and the Ryougi siblings, and moved slowly along with the team.
[Brother-in-law, you guys line up first, I want to eat Mont Blanc! (?▽?) If you are in line first, please buy it for me. ( =∩ω∩= )]
"Okay." Nanaya snorted resignedly, "It looks like everything that's supposed to come will come."
