Volume 1: Chapter 166 Kallen Kaslana
🕑 Added 2025-08-18 15:14:12 +0000 UTCThe pink-haired fox girl looked at the raised blade in despair.
At this time, who will come to save her?
Higyokumaru doesn't remember his past.
The only thing she remembered was that she was driven out, and it seemed that something was taken away from her -
Even her name was given by someone else.
Then a voice dispelled the darkness like sunshine—
"Zerg found it!"
The little child broke through the barrier of darkness and arrived at the recreated sacrificial site.
“Boom!”
There was a sound of something hitting the ground.
Theresa fell face down to the ground.
She was flying like a balloon and suddenly stopped and fell directly to the ground.
"it hurts……"
The little nun stood up with stars in her eyes.
Her forehead was a little red and swollen.
"etc."
Then Theresa caught a glimpse of someone who was familiar but seemed a little different.
"Kallen Kaslana?"
That was the Holy Maiden of Destiny whom I met before.
However, the other party's appearance has changed drastically -
The originally holy nun's uniform was dyed into a dull black.
The tough look was also taken over by malice.
Although the nun was smiling -
But that smile didn't convey any warmth.
“…”
Theresa was silent.
After Kallen entrusted the cross to her, she was swallowed by darkness.
"Sakura, it looks like we have an unpleasant guest."
The nun pulled the miko and made her face at the newcomer.
The Overlord has arrived here.
Completing the ritual to break Yae Sakura's will would have to be done later.
Now we have to get rid of the Overlord first.
Although the will projected by the Overlord is very strong—
But the God of Darkness is not without a chance of winning.
Yae Sakura is in his hand.
The nun, who had been resisting stubbornly before, was also swallowed by the darkness after losing the protection of the light.
After it sneaked into the miko's body, it seized the dark power of another consciousness.
Just wait a little longer -
Even the Overlord could not destroy it in Yae Sakura's consciousness space.
“…”
Yae Sakura's expression became somewhat struggling.
However, the whispers of darkness kept ringing in her ears, allowing her to see various ways her sister died.
And every time her sister died, it was done by her own hands.
The miko's expression turned dull.
Under the guidance of the nun, Yae Sakura raised the spiritual sword in her hand towards Zerg and Theresa.
The frog should have been boiled in warm water, slowly breaking the miko's heart.
However, Amon does not have that much time. Currently, he can only forcibly control the body of the miko.
This aroused Yae Sakura's instinctive resistance.
The ropes that bound the pink-haired fox girl were directly broken by an invisible force.
"you……"
Higyokumaru looked at the figure that appeared in front of her in a daze.
Did someone really come to rescue her?
It was still the terrifying existence that almost ate her alive.
However, at this moment, there was no fear in my heart, but instead a feeling of security.
Higyokumaru never thought that she was actually rescued.
The blade fell with a cold glow, and was then grasped by a small hand.
Zerg stared at the miko with a wooden expression and the nun with malicious intent behind her.
Amon is a nasty thief.
Not only did he steal the Swarm's ideas, he also tried to steal the Overmind's friends.
"boom!"
A huge amount of spiritual energy suddenly exploded, pushing the nun and the miko away.
"Are you okay?"
Theresa comforted the pink-haired fox girl.
"I... I'm fine... I just can't move..."
Higyokumaru answered with a slight stammer.
The nun had severed her hamstrings and she could no longer feel her legs.
Although her hands were freed from their restraints, they were still unable to support her movements.
"Thank you..."
The fox girl choked up a little.
The small figure stood in front of her and protected her behind him.
And this little girl with white hair is caring about her.
Higyokumaru shed big tears unconsciously.
She didn't know why she was crying.
But it seems like I haven't experienced this feeling in a long time.
"Hey? Don't cry, okay?"
Theresa was in a panic, trying to comfort the little girl in front of her.
"My name is Theresa. Do you have a name?"
She inquired as she wiped the girl's cheek with her sleeve.
"Higyokumaru."
The fox girl replied.
"She was the one who drove me out of my lair and took my things."
Hiyomaru pointed at the nun who was confronting Zerg.
"You mean...Kallen Kaslana?"
The little nun hesitated.
"No, it's the dark existence hidden in her body."
The fox girl shook her head.
She was very impressed.
The first thing she saw when she regained consciousness was a huge black fox standing in front of her. If she hadn't run away subconsciously, she might have been eaten.
The aura of the black fox is inside that nun.
"Thief Amon, Zerg is going to destroy you!"
For the first time, Zerg looked angry.
The God of Darkness tried to corrupt Yae Sakura's will and make her become Amon's minion.
However, in his previous close contact with the priestess, she had already been marked as the master.
Amon couldn't get it easily.
If the power projected was not limited, the God of Darkness would have been attacked by the mark long ago.
"hehe."
The nun just sneered in response.
It controlled the miko's body and once again took an attacking stance.
At the same time, the darkness around them began to surge——
Then, numerous monsters emerged from the darkness.
This is its home ground.
Even if you are the master, don't think you can take advantage of it.
"Insect Swarm, fight for the Master!"
Purple creatures also emerged.
This is the world of consciousness, so naturally we can construct a swarm of insects through fantasy.
“…”
Theresa looked around the battlefield.
She spotted the cross that had fallen to the ground.
That was what Kallen Kaslana had entrusted to her.
At this moment, the cross became dim, as if it would go out at any time.
The little nun gritted her teeth.
She was going to get that cross back!
But at this moment, the purple wave and the dark army collided with each other.
The situation is very chaotic.
And Theresa is just an ordinary little girl here, without any power.
She may die from unknown AOE.
The dark army is made up of all kinds of strange things——
For example, a dark gold armored warrior who is spinning with an axe.
For example, a combat mecha that shoots light bullets and has four legs.
To be honest, the little nun had no confidence.
But that was the cross that the Holy Lady of Destiny entrusted to her.
Perhaps it is the key to awakening Yae Sakura.
"How am I going to get that cross?"
Theresa bit her fingers, thinking about how to get the cross back.
"Theresa, I can help you."
Higyokumaru calmed down.
Then she spoke.
It seems that I can lend my strength to others.
"Higyokumaru, that would be dangerous."
Theresa looked at the fox girl.
"I'm not afraid."
Hiyumaru's eyes became firm.
Theresa and Zerg helped her, so she had to help back.
Although she has forgotten his past, Higyokumaru feels that she is not an ungrateful person.
She held the little nun's hand, and then the girl's figure turned into a point of light and disappeared.
At this time, the swarm of Zerg materialized by Zerg and the enemy army were in a stalemate.
The dark army continued to emerge, but the purple wave always maintained a certain limit.
This made it impossible for the Overlord to expand his victory.
Because there is a limit to what Yae Sakura can bear.
This is already the limit of a miko.
If more insect swarms are materialized, Yae Sakura's consciousness will be damaged.
Zerg didn't want his friends to get hurt.
However, although Amon's legions continued to emerge, they were still unable to break through the Zerg's defenses.
"Zerg, cover me!"
Theresa's voice came from behind her.
The little nun rushed out.
It's just that her appearance has changed -
A pair of non-human ears grew on his head.
The clothes on her body also changed into a red and white shrine maiden costume.
The strength returned to the body.
Theresa moved nimbly across the battlefield.
Although she is usually very pathetic, she is still an S-class Valkyrie of destiny.
She dodged the axe of the dark gold armored warrior and avoided the light bullets shot by the four-cornered combat mecha.
The little nun lunged forward and hugged the dim cross in her arms.
“Got it!”
The cross was soaked in blood.
The dark gold-armored warrior's axe had just cut her hand, leaving a bloody wound on the palm of her hand.
Theresa rolled on the ground in a panic, trying to return to Zerg's swarm of insects.
Then--
She noticed that the cross in her hand was beginning to get hot.
But the heat did not burn her, instead it made Theresa feel warm.
The Lord looked at the cross.
It carries with it the power of an indelible longing, and it seems to have been activated by Theresa's blood.
Then you can try to infuse spiritual energy into it——
The light emanating from the cross grew stronger.
Zerg saw a figure.
She was a woman wearing a nun's uniform, with white hair and blue eyes.
Her appearance is somewhat similar to Kiana, but her expression is tougher than Kiana's.
"Hello, my dear child, I am Kallen Kaslana."
The Holy Lady of Destiny greeted with a smile.
"Thank you for your strength, which has enabled me to reclaim myself."
She had been resisting the invasion of darkness, but after leaving the protection of the cross, the saint's will was almost completely devoured.
It was boundless darkness, and she was merely the existence formed by the saint's longing for the miko.
If it was the real Kallen Kaslana, perhaps she could resist the erosion of darkness.
"Sakura's will is still fighting, my lovely child, can you help me again?"
Kallen Kaslana held out her hand.
"Zerg agrees to help you!"
The Master took the outstretched hand without hesitation.
"Thank you, Zerg."
Kallen Kaslana's figure shattered.
Then--
The pure black nun froze.
The consciousness that should have been swallowed up by the darkness suddenly reappeared, and then in an instant began to resist and take back the body.
As a result, her control over Yae Sakura also showed flaws.
"impossible!"
Amon didn't expect that the nun's consciousness still existed and was not completely swallowed up by the darkness.
How could a mere human being have such a strong will?
"I……"
The miko's wooden expression became lively again.
She subconsciously grasped the knife in her hand.
just--
Rin died in front of her again.
She cut his neck with her own hands.
"Sakura."
A familiar voice sounded in my ears.
Yae Sakura saw pupils that were a mixture of sky blue and pure black.
"Kallen?"
The miko was stunned.
"I'm sorry to meet you under these circumstances, Sakura."
The white-haired nun managed to look apologetic.
Then--
She slowly grabbed the miko's hand, and slowly but firmly pointed the knife in her hand at her body.
"I……"
Yae Sakura opened her mouth and wanted to say something.
"It's okay, Sakura."
Kallen Kaslana smiled.
The nun hugged the miko.
"I'm very happy to see you again."
She is Kallen Kaslana, who emerged from the thoughts placed on the cross.
But even so, I still want to protect her.
Feeling the pain of her body being pierced, the saint had no regrets.
Even if it means her demise.
"Kallen!"
Yae Sakura opened her eyes wide.
“…”
The nun paused in her activities.
Then her body began to dissipate bit by bit.
Kallen Kaslana, with her will to die, is determined to drag the dark will into the eternal sleep of death.
"don't want……"
The miko's voice trembled a little.
Then——
A hand grasped the dim cross.
Zerg closed his eyes and used his enormous spiritual energy to bring the thought body that was on the verge of dissipating back into the cross.
The Lord will never forget anyone who has helped him.
Whoever helps Zerg is Zerg's friend!
Without Kallen Kaslana's help, there would be no way to free Yae Sakura from Amon's control.
It would be very troublesome if it turns into a tug-of-war.
The miko's consciousness cannot bear the long-term presence of the master.
"Zerg, is she...still alive?"
Yae Sakura asked with some trembling.
Little kids seem to be able to do anything.
"Kallen Kaslana is alive!"
But Zerg looked a little tired.
He had just pieced the fragments of the body of thoughts back together, which was a very delicate job.
If it was spelled wrong, Kallen Kaslana would literally perish.
This consciousness projection only dominates a small amount of power, so it is a bit troublesome to make.
As for Amon's -
“Boom.”
Heavy footsteps were heard.
A huge black fox appeared.
The Dark God's plan failed.
It never thought that a mere human being could have such a strong will.
In the past, even the Zerg Overminds succumbed to the dark will of the Void.
However, a human being succeeded in breaking his plan with her own will.
The key factor in reversing the situation lies in the master.
Without his infusion of psychic energy, the human race swallowed by darkness would be completely destroyed.
But it's not a big problem.
It’s just that it’s impossible to snatch the body of the miko through corruption.
It can still use its power to forcibly occupy Yae Sakura's body.
Thanks to another consciousness hidden in Yae Sakura's body, it contributed a huge amount of dark power to it.
The black fox grinned, revealing its undisguised malice.
The tired master, the weak miko and the little nun.
And at this moment it can call upon the dark power accumulated over fifty thousand years.
No matter how you look at it, it’s an advantage!
There is absolutely no chance of failure this time!
