Chapter 60 - Poll

I've been sick for a few weeks with whatever the hell is going around, I've had client and family emergencies, and this chapter is so dialogue and event heavy it's taken on a life of its own. My goal was to wrap up all the GODS net testing this chapter, but it's the 5th already and I don't want to delay putting this out for too much longer depending on how the poll vote below turns out. (I also lost 3 days of writing in February and yes, I know how silly that sounds.)
So, this is the first time in 4 years of writing I've been in this position, but chapter 60 stands at at about 9k words. I'm going to ask you guys to weigh in on the timing of the release of chapter 60.

It is done on the day it is done, I would rather another quality chapter, than a so-so one. Thats just my 2 cents worth.

I voted for option 3, you have been the most consistent writer over a long period of time that I have ever seen, and yeah life happens. I am also just getting over 'what ever the hell it is' myself and it sucked. But I am going to have to see pics before I agree how sexy a beast you are. :)

I want to vote for option 3 but 69 will not be denied. And honestly considering how some of the stories I like are only updated once a year if lucky having to wait another month is a small price, so do what you feel is best boss

Option 3. Take your time, heal up, and put out a chapter when you can. If you have to skip a month I am okay with it.

I would've voted for option 3 but as of now it stands at 69% of the vote. I could not in good conscience change it to 70%

I hear you brother. There are some fantastic stories that I review and jokingly say "I'm looking forward to the next update in 6 months to a year." Thankfully, I've never been guilty of that. I'll do my best to make it a good one. I'm having more fun writing it than usual, which is usually a good sign that something is going right. :-)

You do you Joe but I’d not be averse to a mega chapter next month. There are stories I read that are lucky if they get two updates a year.

I'm not really liking any of those choices. I think a rushed partial chapter is probably the worst of them. If you can't finish this months chapter and have a new one out next month then I guess take the break you need to get back on a sustainable path.

I'd lean towards releasing it next month so you're not as stressed, you've got it written to your satisfaction, etc. But ultimately, you do you Boo, like you said, it's been 4 years, we have faith That being said, if you do delay, you might want to release a 'Not Dead, Just Feels That Way' post on the other sites, 'cause god knows I've worried about authors who go silent

While big chapters are nice I personally would like a chapter. HOWEVER whatever feels right to you Joe as you are the author and you haven't steered us wrong yet with this story you are crafting
