Weekly Update, October 10th

I can't tell which I like better; the idea that Celica would actually be a good mom, albeit a scary one, or the idea of Minitron being a bundle of energy and love.
In terms of game progress, I spent last week on two main projects; upgrading the game to proper 1080p, and rebuilding the event selection UI to not be a dumpster fire of default Renpy menus that are all hardcoded in and look even worse than the rest of the UI.
Both were successful, though not perfect yet.
The characters look immensely better at the new resolution, and just as importantly, are the correct scale - Sam and Metatron now tower over Celica instead of being about the same height. Ashley is still disgustingly smug, of course.
The event backend code rebuild is done, but the actual UI still needs work, especially after the 1080 upgrade. So I'll definitely be working on that this week, though I'm hoping to have it pretty well sorted out relatively quickly since I already know most of what I'm doing, so I can move on to actual content (hopefully) by Wednesday ish.
