I've learned over my time here that emotional head space makes a difference in how much I enjoy or don't enjoy each episode. My heads space when I first listened to this last night was more soft and gentle. There are times when I feel more feisty and rough, which would have been perfect for this episode. I was actually sitting on my back porch shivering while I let the dogs out before bed when I started this one. I was briefly tempted to go lay in the cold, wet grass but thought that my husband might notice and start asking questions. That would be awkward. When the reference to the first Ghostface came up, I decided to go back and listen to that before going any further. It has some similarities but it was more suited to my emotional state at the time. I was very turned on by the time I came back to the new episode. I don't know if that was the best course of action to take. This ep., while it started off with some level of care, quickly switched to cold and mean. It's Ghostface, so I wasn't expecting a softy, but my head space wasn't prepared for unredemptive meanness. The parts that I did enjoy were: The story building The graphic sound effects The hands on the throat, face, and in the hair All of the oral and actual sex, and the finish. I will probably take another run at this sometime when I'm feeling more fiesty.
