Captain America helmet download - Marvel Rivals
🕑 Added 2025-02-01 18:03:08 +0000 UTCHere is the first one of the month :)
Captain America helmet from Marvel rivals.
I have added several versions like fully combined ones and split by parts and color, so you can just use a specific color filament and not worry about the post process.
you will also find even more pre sliced options for all of these for you to choose from
As always , made based on my head size at a 585 mm circumference :)
This one reminds me of something else, so I am working on a little variant that I will post tomorrow as well :)

marko any chance we can get a hydra version??? the hydra logo instead of the A ???? thank you
Marko Makaj
No, those are stl files. Only 3mf files are to be printed "as they come" - i am test printing it myself so will upload 3mf file for bambu soon as well, that way we have a file that we know works as the print orientation and supports have been tested :)
Isaac Stroupe
When i open your files in Bambu should I print them the way you already have them oriented on the plate? I'm having sport failures left and right
Marko Makaj
hey :) in theory that should be correct, however we have to take into account thin and the fact not all heads are shaped correctly, plus if you wish to leave the room for padding , so yeah 95-96 would in theory work :)
Isaac Stroupe
Im slicing this one right now. Your head is 585mm and mine is 558 (5% less) do you think if I scale all parts to 95% that would get me close?
Marko Makaj
Oh you mean the round ear pieces - yeah just wing it, cant go wrong with this one
Mark Carrozza
Right but there's nothing on the ring to attach to the helmet it's just a puck so they can go on the helmet at any angle.
Marko Makaj
There is an indent /slot cut out in the ears where the wings go
Mark Carrozza
Looks great, gluing it up now. One thing there should be some kind of registration for the wings to glue the pucks at the right angle for the wings to be.
Marko Makaj
Sure - 622.3/585 = 1,0639 , and turn it into % by x 100 = 106,39 %
T.J. Rusk
Care to share with me the math you used to come up with the 106.39% number?
John H.
I made one that fits my head perfectly (I have a 21.75" head, so scaling it to 91 fits snug. If I were to scale it to 95%, according to Marko's 23" head, then it comes out a bit lose for me but that's because I have a small and slim head). I added elastic bands so i can slide it in and out. I add elastic bands for all my helmets just incase the magnets don't hold it up. I don't need it to remove completely, just enough for me to slide on my head but a couple magnets would be great for it to snap in place.
Marko Makaj
yes always scale the parts uniform - i made them for 585 mm circumference ( my head) , but i leave room for padding - so if you are using 622,30 , the scale should be 106.39 %
T.J. Rusk
I'm fairly new to printing helmets. My head circum. is 24.5in/622.30mm. Should I scale the parts uniform? How much should I scale it? Any advice is helpful. Thanks!

Magnets would be amazing to connect the dome to the eyes/chin piece
John H.
Ahh I see.
Marko Makaj
The helmet just slides on, there is no need for magnets
John H.
Magnet holes. Are they designed to slide on your head after welding the pieces?
Marko Makaj
thank you :)
Marko Makaj
i am going to print it in parts mostly due to print limits, but if i had a larger printer i would print the "blue" parts one piece, ears separatelly and chin and "A" , so i can print it by color as well :)
Marko Makaj
thank you so much :)
Marko Makaj
woohoo :D yesd :D
Marko Makaj
magnets ?
John H.
It doesn't have magnets :(
Gaven

Love it

Would you recommend printing it in one piece or better in individual parts? Thinking of doing everything in one piece except maybe the wings in resin
Andrew Sheffield
Awesome
