If its all wired corectlly there should be no reason for it not to work, are the seevos working, did xou try a diferent board to make sure its not a faulty one ?

Frederick A Williams

I just can't get it all to work, got it loaded on the nano, and hooked it all up, and nothing happens, even tried the non motion sensor version, same thing....I have some work to do I guess..

CQCoder

FYI: Do not get an ESP32 Nano. The servo library is not compatible. This library only supports boards with an AVR, SAM, SAMD, NRF52 or STM32F4 processor." And don't do like me - get everything soldered up and THEN decide to load the sketch....

darrin tidwell

Is this a video you made and if so where is it located?

darrin tidwell

Drop you a message here or somewhere else. I’m a newbie. Also getting error with code when I check it. I’ve used arduino before. I’ll look around and make sure I’m not uploading the code from your word doc wrong. Thanks again for willing to help

Marko Makaj

drop me a message with some vieos/photos, hard to say iwthout knowing if everything else is wired properlly

Marko Makaj

check the “how to install the code video . however it would apear you did not copy everything right, make sure there are no extra symbols other than the code

darrin tidwell

when I load the program for sensor, the servos just keep moving, no pause. I made sure to put it somewhere no movement, and servos were not in line of sight of the motion sensor. any ideas?. I really want o use the motion sensor

Nigel Davies

Need a little help please, I'm trying to upload the code to an Arduino and I get the error message 'include' does not name a type'. ??

Dennis Crawford

FYI The schematic is wrong on this. Eyelid is d6 and eye is d5

Marko Makaj

Nope , but you will get s better result if you alightly support the eye opening as the overhangs might get in the wqy if the eyelid. I didnt supprt mine but i slightlly trimmed the opening in post https://www.instagram.com/reel/DAoTTUjKntE/?igsh=NnJkYndjbXI5aDkx

David Anthony Vernola

Does it need supports?

Dennis Crawford

This will be my first print of yours. I love moving prints. Can't wait to see what else there is

Marko Makaj

yes, i know :D that is not possible :D i would have to create a new model with your scale in mind, there is no "adjustment" for somethign like that , its not possible :)

Nigel Davies

Yeah I understand, I would keep the eye and working parts the same, just wanted a bigger pumpkin 🙂

Marko Makaj

it is not possible to scale it up when you have parts taht are uncahnged like the eye, and servo's, if you scale everything up the parts will no l onger fit

Nigel Davies

I absolutely love this and have already made one. But I was wondering if you could make a larger version? I would usually resize models myself but I don't know anything about 3D modelling so wouldn't be able to change the eye hole to keep it the correct size

Nigel Davies

I'm in the UK, it came to about £30 the Arduino was the most expensive part

Steve Burk

has anyone in US priced about what all the electronics/parts would total?

David Anthony Vernola

Awesome!!!!

Marko Makaj

Definately not, ill juat mix it uo between other projects but i have quite a few things planned :)

David Anthony Vernola

This and book are so very awesome. I hope this pumpkin is not the last use of the eye mech. Hoping for more uses.

Marko Makaj

yes, as its shown in the video :)

Brian olson

or better yet, do you glue down Box 1 B into the frame, because there is nothing that holds the eye in.

Marko Makaj

boy 1B goes onto box 1A,, i named them so its suggested that way - Box 1 ( A and B) , asame as for the eye - eye 1 (A and B) . there is also an assembly video in the folder that shows you how to put the eye toegether step by step , its in the "build guide and code" folder :)

Brian olson

Just printed everything and got the electronics ready bt the diagram to put the eye mech together seems a big confusing. There are parts that arent shown where they go, like Box 1. B, eye 1.b

Marko Makaj

😁😁😁

Marko Makaj

Haha true :D appreciate it : d

Marko Makaj

Thank you :)

Marko Makaj

Haha :D

Marko Makaj

Hmm :)

Marko Makaj

Easy if you carve it out its juat a matter of positioning the eye

Marko Makaj

Ill post a video (moat likely tomorow) that explains it all :)

Marko Makaj

Unfortinatelly no, it will not dit the mechanism

Marko Makaj

Happy to hear :)

Ed_F

Just awesome, Marko! [sigh] I knew ordering electronics to build only two all-seeing eye projects for Halloween was not enough. Second order coming up...

Samuel Incani

Isn't the 22mm eye also good? Because in Italy there is a risk that it won't arrive by the end of the month

Bradley r Schultz

never done anything with a arudino. i dont see a tutorial on how to load the code and stuff. also, how easy would it be to install the eye into a real pumpkin?

Andy Hughes

Would love to see your take on a wearable creepy pumpkin head

Andrew Sheffield

No freaking way!!?!?!!

David Anthony Vernola

Awesome!

Damien Moreau

This is creepy AF, I love it ahahah

PiraLoco

Yeeeees! 😎
