NEW VIDEO!! Castlevania Symphony of the Night's Lost Game.Com Port | Punching Weight
🕑 Added 2022-12-08 03:24:39 +0000 UTCHi all!!
Note: For some reason YouTube is taking ages to process this video. As of this post, it's up to 360 and hopefully will be in HD soon. As always, let us know if you see any mistakes :)
Anyways, what a terrible night to have a Tiger Game.Com port of Castlevania!!
As if that's possible! I feel like I've been teasing this video all month, and I'm so excited for y'all to view this SotN prototype in all of its glory. Like we mention at the beginning of the video, November was a bit of a nightmare because a leak in our apartment displaced us. I'm still trying to get all of that figured out, but at the moment we are sleeping in the living room, which is a bit less than ideal lol.
Derek actually wrote and edited this video mostly by himself! I'm really proud of him and think that it turned out really great. The process of playing this prototype was INSANE, especially since there wasn't a lot of information out when we started. This video basically mirrors the shock we went through at each progression of the game, from passwords to HOLY CRAP IS THAT A FAMILIAR!?! Absolutely incredible. For what it's worth, it's the best Game.Com game I've ever played!
Anyways, we still got one more video left in us for 2022 that I'm really excited for y'all to see! Thanks for the support and hope y'all like the video!

You should. I first played it last year. I really had missed out. Few games make me come back for replays, but SotN definitely will

Wow, that was interesting and IMMENSLY ambitious. Thanks for sharing your experience, made me want to complete the original game!

I remember talking to one of the devs on the official game.com forum about this port after it was officially cancelled, and he hinted that it was nearly complete. He also mentioned that their dev team was very small - only a few people. I had no idea it was this playable tho. I expected it would play a lot more janky actually. Great video - Thanks!

Yeah, sex is neat, but it never got a Game.Com port

I am just floored with how above and beyond they went with this port. It just makes you wonder more what the hell happened with Sonic Jam!

That was delightful, half Punching Weight, half Gettin' Super Nerdy, and...maybe I oughta play SotN one of these days, probably.

I was embarrassingly happy when this was released. That single screenshot of this version was all we had to go on for years I half suspected it was just a mockup.

360 just enhances the game.com experience
