Podcast cancelled today!!
🕑 Added 2022-11-07 18:20:31 +0000 UTCAfter a weekend of heavy rain and wind in the Seattle-area, our apartment has sprung a leak. Luckily nothing important has been damaged! But unfortunately this means we’re going to have to cancel the podcast recording at least for today while we try to dry out our apartment with loud fans and dehumidifiers.
We will keep you guys updated!

You’re lucky. The Pacific Northwest has claimed a LOT of property damage to my stuff over the years. Hope you guys get it sorted easily.

Welcome to the PNW, have some fires and some floods. Sorry y'all :-(

Thanks but the maintenance people have their own industrial sized fans and dehumidifiers. They'll get the job done but they are quite loud and we'll need to leave them on for a while to make sure the walls and carpet don't get moldy. This is Seattle after all.

Sorry to hear that. I hope everything goes fine and you can recover soon from that

I have an air purifier and some tower fans in Kirkland if you guys need some extra power. Sorry for the chaos :(

Hope the process goes well and you aren't too inconvenienced. Drying out a space can be a pain when it's no longer warm outside.
