also stucking in completet dark rooms is exciting- it feels real- but you have to take out the time rush. Perhaps you can implement it when activating some story cenarios or "forbidden" / difficult optional content. It should evade sooner or later then.

The game you developed looks very promising and exciting!! But for the atmosphere and the emotions while playing it in my oppinion it is absolutely necassary to "unspeed" the playstyle! The penalty with starting all things over and over if you are not lightning fast at pushing the switches is too harsh. It would be way more intense if you could explore the dark and spooky and .. other sightings if you are not every time in a complete rush like in a racing game where you have to calculate every second to come further in story- if not all again and things are completely random located.
