Peter spoke enthusiastically with Kenny and Amy struggled to conceal her disappointment. “Are you in this evening?” she asked, thinking that she might sneak in to see him later.
“No, I’m actually out for once. My course is having a little early Christmas party as several of us are going away. I’ll probably have a drink and crash in my friend's room at the uni.”
