Amy saw the cafetiere of coffee on the table was still half full so she grabbed a mug and threw herself gracelessly on a chair. “It was great fun but I’m regretting it now,” she croaked.
While she drank coffee Peter got up and threw some effervescent vitamin tablets in some water and passed her the glass. She thanked him and drank it down. “I’ve already been out to the shop this morning,” said Peter. “I got some bacon and bread rolls. I also picked up some vegan bacon just in case. I know a lot of young people are into that these days.”
“We didn’t disturb you last night did we?” she asked while sipping her drink.
“No, I was out like a light. I’m not sure how legal those sleeping pills were but they are a godsend when trying to deal with jetlag. Someone from work got them for me. At least these ones had a label which is more than I can say for a lot of the pills that man has.”
They talked a little about the party and then Amy stood up and stretched. “I think I’m going to take a shower. I don’t feel so dire anymore.” She turned and as she walked towards the door she bumped into Beth. “Oh,” she said in surprise. “Morning cutie, is anyone else awake?”

Beth seemed unsure but Amy urged her along and before she knew it, Beth was standing in the Bathroom while Amy pulled off her clothes. Beth looked away a little embarrassed. Amy noticed but didn’t say anything as she climbed into the shower. “I’m guessing this is about last night,” Amy said as she began to wet herself.

“You’re having a relationship with Kenny?” Beth asked.
“In a way. We aren’t a couple or anything but we are playing around. Does that shock you?”
“A bit, yeah,” said Beth. “What about him going off with Lula?”
“I set them up. Lula asked me if Kenny was interested in her. I told her yes and then arranged for them to be alone for a bit. Why, jealous?”
“A bit,” Beth said, frankly. “I thought he was into me. We kind of connected at the last meet-up. I was hoping he might show some interest in me.”
“Sweetie, he is totally interested in you, he is just interested in Lula as well.”
“And you.”
Amy chuckled. “Yes, he’s interested in me too but that is not quite the same. I threw myself at him.”
“Why?” asked Beth.
“Because he needed someone to show interest in him. He’s a nice boy but too shy with too little self-esteem. A low self-esteem that is totally unjustified as I am finding out.” Her hand dipped between her legs and she stopped herself from getting spirited down there and just cleaned herself. She stopped the shower and got out. Beth was caught unprepared and Amy caught Beth admiring her body. “Can I ask you a question?” she said as she reached for a towel.
“Sure,” said Beth, turning away as if caught.
“When you were watching us, who were you looking at while touching yourself, Kenny or me?”

“I’m not very approachable,” said Beth. “Guys are usually too busy being vulgar about my chest. I’ve had a couple of boyfriends but I never let it get very far.”
“Were you attracted to them?”
“Yeah, sure. At least, I think I was.”
“Just because you find me attractive doesn't mean you are just into women,” said Amy. “You might not be into women at all. You might just have a girl crush. It happens. You might be, or you might not. Catching me having sex is not a great way to judge. You might have been turned on by the situation or how much pleasure I was experiencing.”

You have to fight for these things.” Beth smiled and nodded. Amy opened the bathroom door. “If you ever want to talk about it, you can get my number off the group chat. I’ve got a bit of experience and I’m happy to help.” With that, she went to her bedroom to get dressed.
The lazy after party started to take place and Peter made himself popular in the kitchen by frying up bacon. Amy could see that Beth was subdued. She wanted to help but wasn’t sure how just yet. She was happy to see Kenny taking some of the host role as he handed out bacon and made caffeinated beverages for people. By lunchtime, people were beginning to drift away. George stayed until last to help clean up and thank them for hosting.
“I’m going to put my head down for a bit,” yawned Amy. “Could you wake me up in say, an hour and a half, Darling?” she asked Peter.
Peter and Kenny decided to do a workout. Peter asked for the gossip from the night. Kenny told him about what had happened with Lula. Peter was genuinely pleased for him. “I hadn’t done that much by your age. She is very appealing, well done,” he told him.
They talked a little more then Kenny said, “Apparently Meggan ended up giving oral to Anuvab in the downstairs toilet.”
Peter laughed. “I hope they didn’t make a mess. How did you find out?”
“Meggan was telling everyone. Anuvab was less keen to share. He looked like he wanted to die of embarrassment every time he overheard her telling someone.”
“Alcohol is a hell of a drug. I don’t know who to feel happy for if anyone.”
“Anuvab had a smile on his face until she started telling everyone. I’m sure he enjoyed it. Meggan certainly did,” said Kenny.
Peter took a shower and threw on his bathrobe before going down to make Amy a coffee to wake her up. He went into the bedroom and opened the curtains which made Amy stir. He put the coffee on her bedside table and lay down next to her. She rolled over and pulled him into a cuddle. “Feeling better?” he asked.
