Sabotage - Chapter 10
🕑 Added 2020-09-17 06:00:02 +0000 UTCBreanna felt somewhat strange, pulling up to school in Serina’s car without Serina. However, she relished knowing the reaction she knew her “sister” was having right now.
“She must be fuming,” she muttered to herself while pulling into the school parking lot. Once parked, she pulled out her backpack and saw the clothes the nurse had donated to Serina yesterday. Smiling and reminiscing of the day before - the pouring water down her legs, the soaking of the incontinence pad, and the bedwetting - she figured she would bring the clothes back to the nurse. If anything, she would use the clothes’ returning as an excuse to remind Serina of her accidents later.
“Hey! Look at that timing,” Tyler called out from behind her; he had pulled up at the same time.
“Hey!” Breanna said and leaned in for a kiss. He turned his cheek, letting her plant her lips there instead. Breanna scowled, confused. “What’s wrong?” She asked.
“Nothing, just not yet, okay? It was one date.”
“Okay…” Breanna said awkwardly, then turned to walk into the building. Tyler felt the annoyance and tried to follow up.
“Look, I had a nice time last night!”
“Yeah so did I.”
“Yeah…”
“So what’s the problem?” She asked. “Do you not want a thing?”
“Breanna, we’ve had one date, all right? Of course I’m interested. Let’s just not rush, okay?”
Breanna heard what he was saying and realized she might have pushed too fast, but she stood by her mood and said nothing. Tyler opened the door for her, uncomfortable as they entered the school.
“What’s that?” he asked, referring to the clothes.
“The bottoms they gave Serina after she wet herself again yesterday.”
“Right…” Tyler cleared his throat.
“Hey Tyler!” A boy's voice called from across the room.
“Hey!” he replied to them, then turned to Breanna. “I’ll talk to you later?”
“Sure,” Breanna replied shortly, then watched him run to his friends. She sighed, knowing she was cold then, and knowing she would have to apologize for it later, then turned the corner to enter the nurse’s office. Nurse Taylor was standing near a shelf, unpacking something from a brown box. When she saw Breanna enter, she kicked it aside and approached her.
“Good morning; how can I help you?” She asked, somewhat nervous.
“I’m Serina’s...sister, I’m just returning the clothes since she’s taking a sick day,” Breanna explained as she handed her the pants.
“Great, thank you!” Nurse Taylor took the pants from Breanna, whose eyes were peering into the corner. She could just make out what was in the box: Depends. Women’s depends specifically, the ‘discreet’ ones. Taylor cleared her throat.
“Will that be all, uh…”
“Breanna. Yes, thank you,” Breanna smiled. As she headed for the door, she remembered. “Oh, Nurse, you may need to wash those. She uh...leaked.”
“Oh, I would’ve washed them anyways,” she replied, uncomfortable. “Thank you!”
Breanna smiled and left for her first class. ‘Diapers,’ she thought. ‘Serina’s accidents made them order diapers! This is too good. God, I’d kill to see her wear one…’
“Brea! Hey!” Yana called to Breanna as she just about entered her class. “Where’s Rina?”
“Took a sick day,” Breanna explained. Claire appeared beside her.
“Oh no, she got the flu or something?” Claire asked.
“Uh, no, not the flu…” Breanna debated telling the girls about the bedwetting but decided against it.
“At least she’s closer to a toilet at home!” Yana joked, making Breanna smirk.
The three girls entered the class and sat in their now usual corner.
“So, Brea, how was the date with Tyler?” Yana asked playfully.
“Oh god, it was great! But I think I fucked it up.”
“How?”
“Well, I don’t know, I think I just pushed too hard, too fast.”
“Don’t worry; he’s like that,” Claire reassured Breanna.
“Really?”
“Yeah, I remembered the first time he and Rina were getting together. She said he was quick to get started but took forever to get really into it.”
Breanna hated yet somewhat liked being reminded that Serina had been with Tyler. She didn’t want to think about what they had done together but also like that she was taking him away, even though they were done.
“But this morning I was so shitty with him about it” she put her hands on her face and groaned.
“Don’t stress about him; he can take it. Just talk to him at lunch; I’m sure it'll be okay,” Yana reassured Breanna, who nodded and turned her attention to the teacher who had started.
‘Ha...they bought Serina diapers,’ Breanna thought, then got busy listening.
At lunch, Breanna sought out Tyler. It didn’t take long to find him, and when she did, she just looked his way, hoping he would look over. Within a few seconds, he did, and with a proper pouty face on, Breanna signalled for him to come over to her. He smiled, said bye to his friends, and ran over.
“Hey you,” he said, smiling.
“I’m sorry,” Breanna started. “I was too fast and hungover and shitty, and I’m sorry…”
“Hey, it’s okay. I forgive you!” He said, laughing.
“Are you sure?” She said, milking her pouty face for all it was worth.
“Yes I’m sure. C’mon, let’s go sit.”
The two sat and talked the entire lunch hour. It was like their date the night before hadn’t ended; it just started right up again as soon as they got the chance.
“You wanna hear something kinda strange?” He asked her.
“What’s that?”
“I’ve been listening to hypnosis,” he said with a chuckle.
“Oh my god, really? Why?” Breanna asked.
“Relaxation, weed, a few things.”
“Uh, elaborate?”
“Well, I used to just use weed to relax when I was getting stressed out. But, I didn’t always like how I was under it and how often I needed it, so I tried hypnosis.”
“How does that help you?”
“Well, for one, it has removed my addictive craving for it. I don’t need it anymore, but I still allow myself to have it sometimes. And then instead I’ve been using one just to relax me and, I’ll tell you, it’s been life-changing.”
“And it works?” Breanna was interested and surprised.
“Oh yeah! For me at least. I would just put it on before bed sometimes; guess I’m kinda like Rina in that way.”
“What else can you do with it?”
“Uh, I guess whatever you want! Quit smoking; I don't know.”
“Huh…” Breanna’s wheels were turning.
“Yeah, sorry if that’s weird,” Tyler blushed.
“No, it’s really cool! I just might try it out…”
Later that day, Breanna said her goodbyes to Tyler with a hug instead of a kiss and drove home. Her head had been spinning all day between the diapers at the Nurses to the hypnosis Tyler talked about. She thought about Serina and her Mom.
“Maybe I should be done, right? This can’t go on longer. I was drunk when I did the bedwetting stuff last night—one-time mistake. The water down her legs was deserved, but not necessary. You’re done. Be a better...sister,” She said to herself on the journey home. And she believed it too. When Breanna pulled Serina’s car back into the driveway that afternoon, she thought she had turned a new leaf. Despite the diapers, despite the hypnosis, she was done with the cycle of sabotage.
Breanna opened the door.
“Hey I’m home!” She called out.
“Breanna?” Jessica was there and questioned her in a stern tone.
“Yeah?” Breanna asked nervously.
“What’s this?” Jessica asked.
In her hand, Jessica held a pair of joints.
‘That fucking bitch.’
