My friends cheered and pushed me towards the stairs where I joined the other nine girls already on stage. We were at national dance event, and the Hypnotist “The Extraordinary and Strange John Lee” was the main event for the opening ceremonies. I had a hand in getting him booked, so can’t be too surprised he selected me as the last person to join him onstage.
John Lee had a history of being...let’s say edgy, with his hypnosis shows. He wasn’t afraid to subject his participants to cruelly humiliating tasks and make them do things they wouldn’t have ever expected they would do themselves. That edge was the reason we booked him, and to be honest I was looking forward to watching more than I was participating. The blessing in disguise was that he had a strict ‘NO RECORDING’ Policy, and his own staff in the crowd to ensure that.
It was the reason he was allowed to be so out there with his hypnotism, because he knew the only torture his participants would get after would be from word of mouth and not video evidence which can haunt you forever. I made it up to the stage and stood next to John.
“What’s your name miss?” He asked with energy/
“Mariele” I spoke softly into the microphone he presented in front of my lips. There was a cheer from my dance studio and I chuckled.
“Well Mariele we’re going to have you sit down right next to miss Connie there, get comfortable and we can start the show!” John got an applause out of the crowd of over 500 ladies, and then turned around to the group.
John began with the typical hypnotist tropes, making us sleepy and heavy and blah blah bla-
…
I woke up in a daze, my eyes blurry and the sound of cheering slowly growing louder as my ears adjusted. I rubbed my eyes and shook my head, looking around to see the same crowd I just sat down in front of.
“Thank you all for coming tonight!” John bowed “Enjoy the dancing! It’s been a pleasure.”
The crowd was astronomically loud and the cheering was becoming shrill in my ears. It was as if my head just got run over by a truck, not to mention my legs were freezing cold...and wet….
I woke up fast as the realization came over me, and I looked to my legs. They were soaked, I had fucking wet myself on stage. I look around, my cheeks flush with red to see there was only four girls next to me on stage. The others must’ve not worked out, not gone under. Connie, the girl next to me was still there, and when I looked down at her legs, they were wet too. We all had wet ourselves. John approached everyone of us with a smile and a gift bag.
“Thank you so much for being a great sport” He said kindly, “I know you might be upset about the wetting so here’s a little something for your trouble. Don’t open it until you get home alright?”
I nodded almost unconsciously, and got up with my head hung and the gift in hand. When I met up with my dance team they cheered as soon as they saw me.
“Oh my GOD that was so funny!!”
“You were amazing Mariele, I kinda wish I got picked now”
“Aha I can’t believe you actually did all that”
“What did I do?” I asked. No one answered; in fact they got strangely quiet after that question.
I walked back to my hotel with the group and we broke off into our rooms. Some girls shared, I preferred being alone.
When I got in my room I threw the gift on the bed, stripped my wet clothes and ran a bath. I sat in that bathtub for almost 30 minutes, before getting out and getting ready for bed. While brushing my teeth in the hotel bathrobe, I walked around the room and my eyes were drawn to the gift. It was a fairly large bag for a free gift, so I walked over and opened it up curiously. There was a note first, so I cracked it open and read:
Dear participant,
Thank you so much for volunteering for my show and agreeing to be in the program. You’ll find in this bag the essentials for your life going forward. You will not remember the event, but you will know what to do and will comply. If at any point you resist your compliance, you will notice quickly that it is not the correct path and should adjust, and if you choose not to adjust I wish you and your clothing good luck. I will be in touch.
Best wishes,
John Lee.
My eyebrows scrunched up in confusion, and I tossed aside the letter to start opening the gift. Under the wrapping paper was a bag of XL girls Goodnites, baby powder, baby wipes, and a list containing which was the best diaper choice for “Amount of Days on Program”. I noticed that “Goodnites” was listed under days “1-14”, and figured that meant I was supposed to wear them for the next two weeks until thicker diapers are required.
I shook my head as those thoughts ran through my head, and dropped the Goodnites in disgust. What was I thinking? Who does he think he is thinking I’m going to wear these things? Doesn’t he know I have to wear skimpy dance costumes this weekend that will most definitely not hide them? I’m a big girl anyways I don’t-
My thoughts stopped racing as I felt a trickling down my legs. I slowly looked down, my mouth full of toothpaste still. Yellow liquid was traveling down my legs in a steady stream, and I didn’t feel a thing. Acting quickly I ran back to the bathroom and into the bathtub where the rest of my accident flowed down the drain of the bath.
When I stopped peeing I stood still for a long time. I couldn’t believe I had just wet myself; no warning, no signal, no pain, nothing.
I came to me sense, spit out my toothpaste finally and washed off the pee with the shower head. Then I dried off again, used an extra towel to clean up the puddle followed by the pee footsteps to the bathtub.
When all was done I didn’t even hesitate. Almost instinctively I grabbed a Goodnite, slid it on, and dumped powder into them. The hypnosis was still in me; I wasn’t acting on free will but I didn’t feel like it was against my will either. I knew what to do and I knew it was the best choice. I almost...wanted to do it. The feeling of the padding and the powder was so soothing and comforting that a chill ran through me, relaxing me to my core.
I crawled into bed in only a Goodnite, and slept like a baby.
---
The next morning I awoke to a banging on my door.
“C’mon Mariele it’s rehearsal time! You better have your costume on and be ready!”
I quickly yelled “Gimme five minutes!” and rolled out of bed. My Goodnite was soaked. “Better that then the bed” I said almost robotically, then stripped it off and tossed it in the trash. I wiped my crotch with a baby wipe and slide another Goodnite on, dumping baby powder down the front and back of it.
With a bit of effort, I managed to squeeze my dance costume over my Goodnites...even though they stuck out the back about an inch; then I ran out the door to see my friend Kass waiting. She noticed my waistband right away and her eyes widened, but she didn’t comment.
“Lets go!” I said excitedly, and started walking away, a crinkle in every step.
