The Fountain of Youth - Chapter 4
🕑 Added 2018-10-25 06:01:00 +0000 UTC Karisa looked hesitant, but she followed me to Tony’s tent. When we were standing just outside, I could hear rustling and it sounded like he was up already.“Hey Tony, you up?” I called towards the tent.
“Yeah, one second I’ll be right out” he replied. Karisa and I stood waiting with concern, and listened as noises of clinking glasses and frantic typing came from Tony’s tent. Within a minute, he was out. He looked wired, but also like he hadn’t slept. Typical for Tony, as soon as there was something to be examined he wouldn’t rest until he knew everything he could about it. “What’s up?” He said, at first looking normal but then giving us a confused up and down. “You’re both...shorter” that got him thinking, he started looking at me skin and touching my face. “Fascinating…”
“Tony we came here to tell you that something weird has been happening to both of us” I said, pushing his hand off gently.
“Well that much is obvious. You look shorter, your skin is clean and looks like it’s never seen the sun, not to mention both of your breasts have show at least 30% decrease in size” he replied while shifting through his thoughts and theories in his head.
“Hey! That’s really inappropriate, creep!” Karisa said, defensively. She looked down and was disappointed with her current, changed cup size.
“I meant no offence, just a scientific observation.”
“Tony listen, both Karisa and I wet the bed last night too. I think the water is..changing us” I just blurted it out, no point holding back.
Tony stopped and thought for a second, then he headed back into his tent with a “Wait here.”
I turned and looked at Karisa who did not seem impressed. Tony popped back out with his laptop and opened up a data sheet.
“Okay, so one of the many theories I had about the water from the fountain was it’s properties would act like a virus, taking over every cell and changing them.”
“So we have a disease?” Karisa exclaimed, going pale.
“No, not exactly. And it’s not a bad virus anyways hypothetically, it’s making your cells younger.”
Karisa and I just looked at him confused, waiting for his point.
“But I believe the virus of sorts is making your cells younger and younger, and will continue to do so unchecked until…”
“Until what Tony?” He was scaring me, I was starting to catch his drift.
“Until there’s no possible way it can get younger, until it’s just constantly a new cell.”
“So why does that mean for us?” Karisa asked.
“It means, hypothetically, that if we can’t find a cure to shut down the virus from further regression, you’ll...again hypothetically...regress to infancy.”
My stomach dropped. I looked at Karisa, not blinking. She looked on the verge of tears, but kept it together.
“We need to get to the lab then, and get right to work” I said, scared. Tony nodded, and went back into his tent to pack up his things. Karisa and I walked away, and headed to our separate tents. Before we could get too far though, Tony called us back.
“Wait! You’ll need this.” We walked back over and saw what he was holding out to each of us. He was holding two big, thick adult diapers. I took a step back, shocked, and Karisa laughed.
“You have to be fucking joking” she said through laughter, but Tony’s face was serious.
“Listen, I know this seems stupid. I brought these along in case something like this happened. You can never be too careful.” He said.
“You won’t catch me dead in a goddamn diaper, creep” Karisa responded, disgusted.
“Hear me out, you both drank the water right? The virus went right into your body through that, more directly...your bladders. This explains the immediate accidents yesterday and the bedwetting last night. As the virus spreads too, you’ll lose all function of bowels and bladder. You’re going to want these. Trust me.” Tony was trying to be reasonable, I could see that. But Karisa wasn’t having it.
“Go fuck yourself.” She said, and stormed off. Tony the looked right at me, and held out the diaper. I stared at it, wondering what it would be like to wear. It looked big and clunky, and mighty embarrassing...but if I needed too, what other option did I have? I believed Tony, he’s odd, but he means well. He wouldn’t lie about this.
I grabbed the diaper from his hands.
It crinkled to my touch and I felt my eyes want to cry. I looked back up at Tony.
“Do you...need help?” Tony asked, shyly.
“Help? Oh...um, no I should be okay thank you.” I blushed and turned around, walking fast to my tent.
“If you need a change, let me know!” He called out. I froze when he said that, still in embarrassment. My cheeks burned red and my tears fought hard, but I managed to make, it to my without making a scene.
I investigated the diaper and unfolded it. It was big, but looked like it would fit me fine. I laid it out on the floor, and started taking off my bottoms. Then, I lowered myself into the diaper, and put my butt right in the middle of it. The padding crinkled but felt soft under my bare bottom, almost comforting. The sticky tabs were big and had a little release tab, which I thought was neat. Wouldn’t have to worry about it falling off. I was just about to tape myself up when Tony barged into my tent. I screamed, and he saw what I was doing and backed out.
“Sorry! I should’ve called in. I brought you some baby powder, the last thing you want is a diaper rash on the flight home.” He said and tossed the bottle through the crack of my tent door. I caught it, and smelt that familiar smell. I was hesitant, diapering myself as an adult was weird enough, but I started dashing some powered onto my crotch. It felt...really, really nice. So much so I made an audible ‘Mmmm’ sound, and dumped a whole load on. Then all I had left to do was tape myself up, and put my pants back on.
Once that was done, I finished packing and tore down my tent. Having a diaper on under my clothes was a weird feeling, and my pants didn’t do any favours hiding it. However, with the baby powder and the soft padding, there was a sort of comfort to them that I hadn’t expected. Yes, they crinkled when I moved and they were on with the assumption I’m going to piss and shit myself because of some magic water virus, but still...it felt oddly nice to have on.
Everyone was packed and we went to the car. Karisa could hear my crinkling and gave me a look of judgement. I blushed, but at the same time, I had faith Tony was right in his prediction. So if anything, she’ll be the one looking stupid...and wet...soon enough.
