“Well there’s still 5 hours until people start showing up, so I booked us a table at Sammy’s” Amanda explained happily, eager to get her now diapered friend out into the world.
“What? No no no no there is no way I’m going out like this, especially not to Sammy’s. I know people who work there!”
“And you don’t know literally everyone coming to the party tonight? Come on Jess nobody knows or cares what you have under your pants. Besides you’ll be sitting down in a booth for the most part anyways, don’t worry about it!”
Jessica contemplated. She did love Sammy’s, but she didn’t so much love the fact that she’d be going with a visible diaper line in her pants. They went often enough to be recognized by some of the staff and she knew some of the waiting staff from classes she had with them. The people you know that aren’t your friends are the worst people to have a humiliating problem around.
“C’mon, I’ll buy you a few drinks and before you know it, you won’t even realize it’s there” Amanda said, growing impatient.
Jessica looked down at her diaper and back up to Amanda. She pushed her legs together twice, a loud plastic crinkling sound filled the hallway and Jessica spread her arms.
“Really? I’m not going to realize this?” She said frustrated.
“Okay no more discussion, let’s go.” Amanda grabbed Jessica’s arm and pulled her to the door. Jessica didn’t even have time to complain further, she just grabbed her purse and her phone, tossed on her shoes and they were out the door.
As Amanda drove to Sammy’s, Jessica shifted uncomfortably in her seat. The thick padding wasn’t something she was accustomed to having wrapped around her crotch, and for a minute she envied the people who actually needed these things. By the time they pulled up at the restaurant, Jessica was just starting to remember she needed to pee. The urge had grown stronger in the time since she let a few drops out, and it was at a point of desperation that in normal circumstances Jessica would have just went to the bathroom and dealt with it.
Unfortunately, Jessica was not in normal circumstances. She felt the diapered bulge more than ever as the exited the car to the busy parking lot. Sammy’s had a line up out the door, typical for a weekend. Jessica felt her face get hot and she hung her head as they walked passed the waiting people and into the restaurant. Thankfully the music in the building was loud enough to mask the sound her diaper made every time she took a step, or moved in general. Amanda walked right up the the hostess and announced their reservation. Jessica remained two steps behind Amanda as the hostess guided them to their table. When Jessica saw where they were sitting, dread washed over her.
“I thought you said it was a booth?” She whispered to Amanda.
“I didn’t ask specifically I just assumed we would, we never sit here.” She replied, seemingly equally annoyed. The table was a high bar table. The chairs had a gap between the seat and the back where Jessica knew her diaper would be visible. It didn’t matter which chair she chose either, each one faced people. Amanda cleared her throat and asked the hostess, “is it possible to get a booth? I must’ve not been clear during my phone call but I was hoping…”
“Um… well all our booths are full at the moment and it’ll probably be another 45 minutes before they clear up...unless you want to wait?” The hostess said with an underlying bitchiness. Amanda turned to Jessica and rolled her eyes, then waited for Jessica’s decision. Jessica turned to look at the crowd in the door. There was no place to sit and hide the diaper there, she would be in full view. At least with the chair she could minimize the display.
“Here is fine” Jessica replied, to the hostesses delight. The girl set down the menus and went back to the front. Jessica cautiously crawled into her seat, pulling down the back of her shirt.
“This won’t be too bad, no one will notice…” Amanda started, Jessica interrupted.
“Amanda. Look at the back of my chair.” Amanda got up and curiously looked around. When she saw it, she nearly burst out laughing. The waistband of Jessica’s diaper was sticking out of her pants in full view. It was so white it almost demanded attention, and there was no mistaking it for what it was: an adult diaper.
“How bad is it?” Jessica asked in a whisper.
“It’s fine, totally fine” Amanda said through restrained laughter. Finally she broke, and burst into a fit of giggles. People turned to look, while Jessica tried to hush her. “It’s totally sticking out, it’s like, so obviously ahahahaha!” She started snorting and gasping, making a fool of herself. Jessica blushed harder than before, and felt her head could explode from heat or her heart explode from pumping too fast.
Finally, Amanda calmed down. Jessica just hung her head, not even trying to hide the diaper with her shirt any longer. Her bladder twinged with a new wave of elevated desperation; she attempted to cross her legs to ease it but the thick padding made it nearly impossible. Instead she pushed her hands to her crotch and swayed back and forth in her chair.
“What’s wrong with you?” Amanda asked.
“I...need to pee…” Jessica didn’t raise her head, just stared at the menu. Amanda perked up.
“Oh my god, you’re wearing a diaper just pee in your pants-“
“Hello ladies how’re we doing tonight!” Their young male waiter seemingly appeared out of nowhere, and definitely heard every word Amanda just said. She looked at him in shock and embarrassment, cleared her throat and said “we need a few minutes”. Jessica managed to raise her eyes for a second to take a glance at the waiters face as he was walking away, and when she recognized him, she buried her head in her hands.
“Oh fuck he heard all of that ahaha whoops, guess we’re not coming back here.” Amanda said, trying to lighten the mood.
“Just kill me.” Jessica said through her fingers.
“Awe babe, you’ll probably never see that guy again don’t worry about it.”
“I have a project with that guy Psychology class, I have to see that guy every day for the next seven weeks!” Jessica explained, still squirming from her need to pee.
“Oh...well ...maybe he’s into diapers? Like a kink or something…” Jessica glared at Amanda as the words left her mouth, and she knew that wasn’t what Jessica wanted to hear.
Jessica let out a moan as her desperation grew and grew. Her foot was moving up and down frantically and her nails were now digging into her thighs.
“Okay I know I just said this and it kinda ended up being awkward but seriously girl, one way or another you’re peeing in those things so why don’t you just sit and enjoy yourself instead of sitting there in desperation” Amanda tried to reason with Jessica.
“I’d rather sit in desperation than sit in my own pee” Jessica snapped.
“Okay are we ready to order?” The waiter appeared out of nowhere again, standing awkwardly and nervously tapping on his notepad.
Jessica had had enough already; she looked right into the boys eyes and spat out their order.
“I will have a peach Bellini, make it a double, maybe a triple, and the Spicy Chicken sandwich with curly fries. She’ll have a Diet Coke, and the pineapple chicken noodle bowl. That’s all thank you.”
The boy scribbled it all down frantically and rushed off. Amanda said under her breath, “I was going to get the fish tacos…” but it was too late. Jessica knew their usual order, and didn’t really care what Amanda had to say about it.
Finally, for the first time since she’d been diapered, she relaxed. A sudden warmth wrapped her bum, at first she thought she might just be sweating but then she realized...she was pissing her diaper.
Jessica shot up in her seat, her eyes wide looking straight at Amanda.
“What?” Amanda said, confused. Jessica couldn’t tell her what she was feeling. Her bladder had given up, and pee was flowing into the diaper padding fiercely. She felt the warmth and the spreading of wetness into her crotch and back to her butt. The diaper began to expand and grow heavy, pushing her pants to be tighter and tighter.
“Oh my god. You did it didn’t you?” Amanda said, getting strangely excited. “You pissed your diaper!”
Jessica jerked to the side, expecting the waiter to appear but this time he was gone.
“I’m so worried it leaked! That was so much pee!” Jessica said, and impressed laugh escaping her worried expression.
“Maximum absorption” Amanda said with a wink. “Well that’s one done, just go change in the bathroom I’ll wait.”
“Change? I didn’t bring another one!” Jessica whispered.
“Well, maybe you shouldn’t have been such a big baby and peed your pants then!” Amanda joked, to which Jessica reacted stiffly.
“Oh have some fun Jess, it is your birthday after all” Amanda brought up her purse. “And look, mommy was prepared anyways” she said as she pulled another thick white diaper from her purse. There was a sound of a throat clearing.
“Your drinks? Aha…” the waiter said. Everyone was frozen in awkwardness, eventually Amanda shoved the diaper back in her purse and the waiter placed down the drinks and ran.
