Knee Deep! (WIP level stuff Au Gust 2025)

This month was mostly progress around poking into level design. I have deep regrets (knee-deep!) about using a generated level as a base, but it has forced me to wake up some creative energies I haven't used in a while (environment design, map-making, etc)
It will take a lot of work to make this map into my own, but it is almost technically functional. The level is quite difficult, though.
While I can't make any promises for when, but it does feel like we're due for a first playable soon. Patreon itself is a bit clunky for this (plus I'm trying not to paywall a mod for a 30 year old game x.x ), so I'm more likely to dedicate a open channel in the Discord than to use Patreon's site for later updates. Stay tuned!
There are also some extra tech demo things I've been working on. (Unarmed with Imp Feet!) Those are in videos in the attachments. Hopefully it's properly disorienting :3
Because I don't say it enough, a huge thank you to all patrons for supporting this incredibly wild adventure into hacking an extremely old game. It's really rekindling my joy of game development after a very rough patch for quite a few years.

It's Oblige I think like version 7.70 or something and then just aggressively stitched and edited from there. I didn't care for the newest version, especially because I wanted something bare as a base.

If that's a generated level it's not obvious. Did you tinker with something from Obsidian.
