I kinda imagined that these dragons go through some sort of pregnancy before laying their eggs. So she could have unknowingly carried a child while finding out Merrikh was a monster. After that, she chose not to tell him. 🤫

I can really see Orchard's pain and regret in this page. The trauma she carries from Merrikh's treachery must be so awful for her 🙁 And poor Apple having to learn such a sad and uncomfortable truth!

Poor Apple, this’ll definetly leave a scar on her heart. But not all of the colony hates her. She has friends, someone who likes her, and her teachers care. They all accept her. Comet is the only one giving her a hard time.
