Changes to Patreon sales taxes coming July 1st
🕑 Added 2020-06-26 11:57:08 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
Just a little heads-up that for some of you, there will be a small change to the amount you'll need to pay to maintain the benefits of a certain tier starting July first. This has to do with some changes in international tax laws, that require Patreon to start charging a sales tax for some benefits in certain countries. (Creators living in affected countries should have already received a mail from Patreon on June first)
To know if you'll be affected, you can find the full explanation (including a list of countries) here:
I don't know how Patreon is going to handle the transition, but if anything goes wrong or you would like a refund or whatever, don't hesitate to contact me.
Stay safe everyone!
