Now we see if Tara will trust Kate with the entire truth about her transformation... I'm sure Tara wouldn't mind Kate's company (and help, if needed) when she finally decides to insert the drive to free herself from control. Seems like many of the synthetic and cybernetic people in your world really just need a good friend (and lover) to trust and give them a safe place to figure out themselves and do self-care in peace.
