Limitless Path Chapter Three Hundred Fifty-Six

Lacey definitely had more to do, considering Sera's size and the addition of her huge tail, but Beth certainly wasn't going to complain about Casey going over her more times. The ogre woman paid particular attention to Beth's lower back and butt where, to be fair, she did have a lot of knots and stress built up. Casey's massive fingers digging into her lower back and the top of her butt cheeks felt incredible, and Beth felt herself drifting a bit towards sleep, though she didn't fully pass out.
Eventually, the girls asked them to turn over, Beth only noticing at that point that Lacey had climbed on the table with them to straddle Sera, not really being able to reach everything from the side of the table. She didn't climb down when they rolled, Sera just flipping over under her and grabbing Beth's hand again before closing her eyes. Beth kept an eye open for a minute, seeing Lacey immediately start with Sera's massive boobs before anything else, closing her eye with a smile. Even the masseuses couldn't resist Sera's amazing chest, and she absolutely couldn't blame them.
Casey had started on her stomach, pouring some more oil on her before massaging her abs, working her fingers deep into the stiff muscles. Beth thought it would be more uncomfortable than it turned out being, but it truly felt quite good. Casey moved down from there, working her legs yet again before focusing on her feet, massaging them individually and taking plenty of time with each of them. Beth hadn't even realized her feet were tense and knotted until Casey worked everything out of them, the ogre woman moving back up after quite a few minutes.
Casey moved back up her torso before stopping her hands at the bottom of Beth's chest, asking, "It's alright if I massage this area?"
"Of course. I am a little sensitive there, so just be aware," Beth said quietly.
"Her breasts?" Sera asked muzzily. At the affirmative answer, she said, "Yeah, she's really sensitive. You'll probably push her over the edge, Case, knowing your skill."
"Oh, really? Would that be too much?" Casey asked Beth.
"No, I don't mind. Go ahead," Beth replied a bit shyly, but still firmly.
"Always let me know if I'm going too hard or working an area too long. We should have given you that warning from the start, sorry. The little dragon girl here got us distracted," Casey said, starting to work Beth's breasts.
"You're maybe the only ones who could call her little, even after she got taller," Beth muttered, making a little moaning noise as Casey really dug in with her fingers.
"Don't fall for them, now," Sera muttered with a chuckle, laughing when Beth gave her hand a hard squeeze in response.
The rest of the massage went like that, though both of the ogres' hands wandered more than a little. Beth wasn't going to complain about it, however, as it left her and Sera quite…relaxed, by the end. She had literally never felt as relaxed and at-ease in her life as she did at this moment, to the point she wasn't bothered at all that her and Sera walked back through the building naked and covered in oil. Any other place and that would have been an insane thing to do, but they barely even got any glances, and Beth was sure they were all at Sera when they did come in. They got back to the suite to find Blood still on the couch, turning to look at them as they walked in.
"You're glistening," Blood said with a raised eyebrow.
"They gotta use oil for a massage," Beth explained with a small eyeroll.
"Worth it?" Blood asked.
"Oh yeah. I've never felt this relaxed and my muscles have never felt this good," Beth said enthusiastically.
"I know another thing I'm doing, then," Blood said.
"Take Tasha and do the couples massage," Beth said.
"Yeah, schedule Casey and Lacey," Sera said. "Tasha will know what to do."
"Cool, but you two should go wash off now. Don't get oil on the couch or…anything else," Blood said. "Though, it does smell good."
"Eh, the body wash and stuff in there smells good. Don't need to be oiled up for that," Beth replied, leading the way into the bathroom.
She and Sera showered off, with Beth focusing an awful lot on Sera, particularly now with the additional scales Sera had in her taller form. She finished after a while and engaged the drying function, enjoying the hot air a bit more than just having Sera flame scorch them dry. When it was done, they exited and returned to the central room, joining Blood on the couch for the rest of the evening. They went to bed late that evening and slept until just before dawn the next morning, waking up early but lying in bed for a while. Beth took advantage of Sera being slow to wake, enjoying the dragon laying on top of her, the feeling of her skin and scales irresistible.
Eventually, she managed to wake Sera fully and got up, carrying her to the kitchen to get breakfast ready before taking care of their morning routine. They didn't have anything planned out for the day, but that wasn't a problem, and Tasha was going to pop up in a minute, anyway. Might as well wait for her to decide what to do.
Just as Beth was thinking about it, there was a knocking at the main door to the suite and Blood leapt to answer it, happily growling as Tasha leapt into her arms. Beth just rolled her eyes, deciding they would have a talk about checking the peephole or the intercom at a later time. With the kind of danger they dealt with, and would deal with as Senior Enforcers, it would be a good idea to not be in the habit of just throwing the door open randomly.
"So, what's the plan for today?" Beth asked, sitting on the back of the couch and looking at the other three.
"Hmm, arena?" Sera asked.
"No!", "No!" the other two shouted at the same time.
"Well, okay then. Sheesh," Sera muttered with a shake of her head.
"Swimming?" Beth asked.
"I could go for that," Tasha said with a shrug.
"Eh, I don't like it that much," Blood muttered.
"Then what do you want to do, miss sourpuss?" Beth asked, crossing her arms on her chest.
"Lay on the couch and nap?" Blood said with both a questioning and hopeful lilt to her voice.
"I shouldn't have asked," Beth muttered crossly.
"We could swim here," Sera said to her.
"Eh, but the pool room was so nice," Beth replied with a slight frown.
"Well, we have plenty of time," Sera said with a shrug. "We could also just leave these two on the couch."
"Well, that's true," Beth said with a nod.
"So, swimming?" Sera asked.
"Sure, but these two should do something," Beth replied. "Mainly this one."
She poked at Blood who growled at her and shuffled away on the couch with Tasha in her arms. Beth just rolled her eyes and sighed, hopping up and making a swimsuit appear at the same time. Sera joined her a moment later and they left the room, leaving the wolf and demoness to lay on the couch for the rest of the day. They went to the pools first, soaking for a long time and just relaxing, talking and people watching for a few hours. After that, they hit a café for some food before heading to the arena and watching some of the fighting live. It wasn't as good as what Beth would see on the arena floor at a CRA Hall, but it was interesting nonetheless.
They returned to the room in the evening to find Tasha and Blood had fallen asleep on the couch, proving that Blood's words were quite true. Beth and Sera were quiet going about the suite and making food so not to wake the two, eating without waking them before heading to the bathroom to clean up. The other two didn't join them or even wake up, as they saw when they moved back through the central room to the bedroom. Beth started a little excitement that night, and Sera proved once again that her skills were quite good and all that END wasn't just for show.
The next day Beth checked the clock of her communicator when she woke, seeing that it was the eighth day at the Royal Rose. They still had an entire week and Beth already didn't know what to do with herself. She had resisted temptation at the arena yesterday and hadn't jumped down onto the floor to fight, but she wasn't sure she could lay around for another week without driving herself crazy. Then again, that thought didn't last too long before the huge dragon girl shifted on top of her and gave her plenty of distraction from the thoughts of going stir crazy.
She went through the long process of waking Sera up and getting her going, though she was sure that at least a part of it was a bit of an act or a show. She was sure if they were somewhere dangerous Sera would suddenly be a light sleeper and up at the drop of a hat, but she kind of liked the lazy dragon persona a lot. It didn't hurt that that persona meant she got even more time snuggled up with the crazy beautiful dragon lady early in the morning. It didn't even drive her that crazy that they were wasting time early in the day, and she was able to relax even more with it being a vacation day.
Speaking of relaxing and vacation days, she figured she'd quickly reach out to some people while she was shoving a grumbling dragon in a hot shower. She scrolled through her contact list, finding it was pretty barren compared to her cell phone, even considering she didn't have all that many friends in high school. Those days were over now, and anyway, she had other things to focus on and other people she was interacting with on a regular basis. Still, it couldn't hurt to boost the old rolodex a little bit more, even if it was just people to randomly chat with when she was bored or had free time.
"I'm gonna make a couple calls," she said to Sera, though she didn't figure the other girl would really interrupt her with anything anyway.
"Anything I can help with?" Sera asked immediately.
"Just family stuff and some other things," Beth said with an eyeroll, chuckling when Sera made a face in response.
"Trust me, I get family stuff," Sera said with a sigh before picking Beth up and carrying her out to the pool, slipping into the water holding the shorter girl while she got the calls over with.
"Beth! Is something wrong, sweetie?" her father's warm voice asked.
"No, Dad, just calling to check in. I know I've been out of touch for…a while," Beth replied.
"Oh, well, it's so nice to hear from you. How are you doing, dear?"
"Oh, you know, out exploring the galaxy," Beth replied with a little chuckle. "I can't really complain."
"Perhaps once things finish stabilizing here, your mother and I could join you," her father said with a hint of humor in his voice.
"Maybe," Beth replied non-committally, shrugging her shoulders to a raised brow from Sera.
"Beth, dear, I can understand a 'no' even when the word said isn't a no," her father said with a laugh. "But, your mother and I might take some time to explore and enjoy this new universe after things stabilize."
"What do you mean by stabilize? What's wrong?" Beth asked, a slight edge to her voice.
"Oh, nothing we haven't been dealing with, don't worry," Thomas replied. "Your middle sister and ex-girlfriend have both set out for greener pastures, though they do remember to call quite often. That leaves the rest of us to try to manage the two dungeons; a blessing and a curse, really."
"Oh? What does that mean?" Beth asked, ignoring the not-so-subtle barb about calling more often.
"The dungeons have mostly stabilized, but they're at a pretty high level. The CRA told us they label the ants as a level one hundred dungeon while the wolves they label as a level one hundred ten dungeon. That means even a lot of the stragglers that get loose from them are fairly high level, though we still do get a number of single-digit leveled enemies pawing around. Good for leveling some of the newer people, but that's tapered off a bit."
"I saw some unfamiliar faces the last time I was there," Beth said. "How many people are in town now."
"Well, our population nearly doubled," her father explained. "But, fortunately for everyone, that's much more a good thing. Most of those people are willing and able to work, and with skills and stats, even a handful of people can easily cover most of the town's needs. Not as many people want to fight or do guard duty, especially after they try it for a while, but your friends down at the CRA Hall say that's pretty typical. Apparently, our whole family are a bit of an exception compared to others."
"Speaking of family, how are the others? I noticed you didn’t mention Soph?" Beth inquired.
"Your mother is doing quite well, though I think she suffers a bit from empty-nest syndrome right now," her father stated. "As for your youngest sister, she's living full-time at the CRA Hall and has little time for us. Normally, I would say sixteen is a little young to be out on her own, but considering she could blow up the whole town with a wave of her hand, I can't really make that call for her anymore. She's apparently studying in some kind of internship or something for magically gifted youths; you'll have to ask her the details, I think it's some internal CRA thing she can't, or more likely, just doesn't want to talk about."
"Well, it's good to know everyone's still doing okay," Beth said with a small sigh. "How's the greater world at large doing? Still mixed?"
"Yes, a little of this, a little of that. Some people have really started to shine; there's a group here that has already done a rebirth and have leveled quite a bit again. I hear there was some issue with their leader some time ago; apparently, the team attacked somebody over a dungeon and got beaten quite badly, and now one of the others is leading them. I think the CRA is keeping an eye on them.
"I hear there's some new dungeons that have popped up in a couple places, though they're pretty far away. A good handful of people have communicators now and access to the extranet, including people having placed relays and communication stations all over the place, so it's almost better than it was before the Path in terms of communications and information. The devices really are quite fascinating, especially the way they integrate with your mana reservoir when you infuse them with your mana-"
"Dad, focus," Beth said, cutting off one of his educational, but long-winded, diatribes.
"Right, sorry, where was I? Oh yes, the mana level seems to have mostly stabilized and I hear we might get a CRA rating of level six for mana, which I understand is fairly high?" he said, his voice lilting a little at the end to indicate a question.
"Yeah, that's right. The scale’s one to ten, technically, but there are more worlds that fall under five than at or above. At least, that applies to settled worlds; as for the rest of it, well, space is a dangerous place. Isn't that what they say?" Beth explained.
"Right you are, sweetie," her father replied, Beth wincing just a bit at his continued use of 'sweetie.'
"Well, I guess I'll hop off now-" Beth started before her father interrupted.
"Beth, what are you up to right now? I don't need all the gory details, but I'd like our conversation to be a little bit more than 'Hey, I'm alive. Is Earth still there?' If that isn't too much trouble, sweetie?" Thomas said.
"Fine, fine. I'm still working for the really strong guy, did a bunch of stuff for him. He had Blood and I deliver some stuff to another insanely strong person that runs, well, basically a luxury resort, and we were told to take some time off before continuing. I'm already going a little stir crazy, but Blood seems to be enjoying herself, so we're here for a little while longer," Beth explained.
"You know, that's one of our biggest worries, other than your overall safety. You never really slow down once you start going, sweetie, and that can really start damaging your mental health after a time," Thomas said with concern in his voice.
"I'm fine, Dad. You know what they say about finding something you like and you'll never work a day in your life. That's how I feel with what I'm doing now; I love exploring and I love fighting. Even after fighting for forty hours straight and being exhausted I still love it; it's what I'm going to do for the rest of my, possibly, very long life," Beth said.
"Well, as long as you’re happy, we're happy, sweetie. You should just check in a little more," he said.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll stop by sometime when I have a free minute after our next mission or two," Beth said with a small sigh.
"It's not that bad here, sweetie," Thomas said with a bit of humor and just a touch of recrimination in his voice.
"I know, I just have stuff to do," Beth said, sounding lame even to herself.
"Well, we're always here, sweetie," Thomas said.
"I know, Dad. Look, I gotta go, but I'll stop by sometime soon," she said.
"Well, I think you and I have different definitions of soon, but I look forward to seeing you, dear," Thomas said.
"Yeah, I'll be around. Later," Beth said, hanging up with a long sigh.

When, if, Beth goes home at some point, to check on things and/or help out, anyone she meets is going to shit bricks lol. She gotta be easily in top 5 of the strongest Earth humans alive.

"Your middle sister and ex-girlfriend have both set out for greener pastures..." Gets me wondering what exactly that means. They still at their "home" hall and just not around the neighborhood anymore, move somewhere else on Earth, leave Earth altogether? Did they go off separately or stick together...has Sabs set her sight on the middle sister now? OK, maybe not that last part, but it would kinda be funny, not to mention awkward.

Love the "subtle" guilt-trip about not calling and/or visiting home more often. Even "super heroes" gotta deal with family!! :D

Thanks for the chapter! Always nice to see Beth checking in with her family! Well that one guy who got beaten up sounds familiar, that was Beth wasn't it? And funny to think they are so excited about a single, probably not true, rebirth when Beth has done 3 :D
