BlueLine Dispatch v3.0 - Police Scanner WIP

The title to this video is somewhat misleading. As the scanner in the video was more about the car police scanner inside police vehicles. My original goal had been to directly manipulate the police scanners inside the vehicles. The video above showed my attempt, and technically, it was possible.
However, after a lot of thought, I decided to pivot and put my energy into a complete revamp of the actual dispatch mod itself which is the current BlueLine Dispatch v3.0 - Here's why:
I would have estimated that almost everyone playing LSPDFR had a trainer installed. And the first thing we usually did was enable "Never Wanted" to avoid triggering the wanted status. When "never wanted" was active, you couldn't hear the default police radio in your patrol car. Plus, the volume was already super faint, making it incredibly hard to boost the audio as Rockstar originally intended it to be low.
So instead of sinking hundreds of hours editing audio files to the police cars that A) most will never hear B) audio was so feint, probably not worth it. So I opted to create my own audio version of a police scanner - That is where the BlueLine Scanner idea came from. Hope you are enjoying that. I will keep adding more to that scanner as well in due time.
Instead, I will focus on something very doable that I had already made progress on: modifying the police station scanner (near that front desk) at Mission Row. I plan on finishing that audio and will include it in a near-future update to the BlueLine Dispatch mod! Stay Tuned.

you should just have dispatch call the freeways by there numbers. in LA no one says the "santa monica freeway" or "the pomona fwy" we say "the 10" or "the 60"

The 911 Logos are separate from the dispatch mod and are available to all patreon members of any tier. You can if you wish, purchase that post off of the shop front just for the 911 logos if you like. However, since the 911 logos blends quit nicely with the dispatch mod, I will try and include those into the v3.0 update for free. Demo video for the 911 logo that had the dispatch audio? Yes that is all standard with the BlueLine Dispatch v2.0 to 2.6 I think the official Demo video for BlueLine Dispatch v2.5 that is in the description of all my YT videos, is all standard audio for the BlueLine Dispatch. However, there may be some personalized files that mention my callsign that sounds a bit more fluid due to a personalized callsign. On the video you are commenting on is a scanner that I was attempting to do for the version 3.0 update coming out in July. Those are audio files that I was working on. However, the smarter thing to do for the police scanner to be honest is to change the Mission Row Police department scanner (that audio that is playing when you enter the station) that is an easy fix. But the scanner inside the car by default, most people will have there never wanted status turned on with a trainer (Probably over 95% of the players will do this). Thus you will never hear the default scanner. The sound is so low anyways inside the car, most will never hear it even if I changed it due to the volume level and also the never wanted status causing a lot of issues and probably over 1k hours of work time. Not very time efficient. My plan is to create a background police scanner dedicated to the BlueLine dispatch mod and combine that with Xscanner. I already have it working, it will just take time creating that scanner mp3, once the demo video comes out. It will make a lot more sense. Demo video should be out by the end of the month. Version 3.0 is set to release in July. Sorry for the long winded response. Hope that answers your questions.

Was Grammar Police working prior to installing the BlueLine Dispatch mod? BlueLine Dispatch is a complete audio overhaul. It does not have any control over how Grammar Police behaves. Check to make sure that you do not have any other mods installed that may influence how your dispatch behaves, for example Xscanner. You may consider visiting Opus49's discord to see if there is any issue with Grammar Police or perhaps there is another issue with your microphone or even the speech recognition on your PC.

I just downloaded 2.6 watched the video. Do happy to get on and I get no answer from dispatch. I thought it might be the traffic police mod took it out and still nothing. Any help will be appreciated

Nah, I don't have any plans on doing pursuit updates. Mainly because the Radio Realism FR is far superior and I have already modified the entire plugin. There has never been any ped check audio from dispatch. If there were, I would add it in.

Quick Question: Whenever I request a Ped Check the Lady doesn't say anything in return, i just get the notification. Works well with plate check, etc. Should I reinstall the audio files? Yes I deleted the scanner folder before installing.

Not really meant for FiveM and is not a load and go type of thing. However, I have seen others get this to work with FivePD servers. Unsure if anyone else got this to work with FiveM.

I wouldn't mind doing that, providing that the callout pack is still viable and works. However, I think the community would need to backup this request. For example, I spent about 20 hours doing the audio for Coastal Callouts and then found out that only 2 people use it lol

You can be a bit creative. Maybe add that to your phrases so that dispatch will automatically send backup. For example under your taser.xml file. Only difference would be that dispatch would automatically just send Code 3 backup instead of asking. If you want dispatch to ask if medical aid is required - you can add in those phrases to person_injured.xml

It would be really cool if the dispatch recognized when you performed a successful PIT maneuver. For example, if you did a successful PIT and said something like 'PIT successful' or 'PIT PIT PIT,' it would automatically ask if you need backup

NVE is burdensome for most PCs out there. Even those that have a high end. Mainly due to the amount of addons. I stopped using NVE due to the lower FPS I was getting and although my game looked fairly decent, It was more trouble than what it was worth. I went to CoreFX for several months - its free. Video on Patreon about CoreFX if you want to look in the exclusive section on Patreon. Or you can take a look at QuantV, I did a video about that just the other day over here on Patreon. I use QuantV now.

Well it's the standard scanner that you hear in the police car. All ambient stuff. Sure you heard it a million times. It's just most of us have the "Never Wanted" turned on with a trainer normally as it helps sometimes going into the locker room or some minor trouble that you may cause before shift starts lol The Never Wanted typically will turn off all Police Radio traffic even when on duty. This project will be hardly noticeable if I am being honest here. But you will notice it at certain points in the game. For example, stand next to the Mission Row police front desk, you will hear the old dispatcher.

man, question: NVE is putting alot of load on my GPU (4060). causing game to crash in about 15 minutes of gameplay. gpu utilization sitting at 95% for very high settings and about 75%-80% at high any suggestions.
