the whole teenagers wanting independence/wanting to live alone is so amusing to me because they rebel and want to be left alone but still depend on their parents for financial support lol like, if you want independence then you move out, pay your own bills, feed yourself, don't expect your parents to be still financially supporting you. that's what "independence" is. ETA: Okay i understand why Ellie was so angry now during New Year's Eve and I side with her on that matter- Joel did wrong, we understand where he's coming from but like what Adam said, never make promises you can't keep. Promises should mean something even in a post-apocalyptic world.

Oooft what an amazing episode. Those two actors are amazing, and I believed them so much in that episode. No dry eyes here. I'm not sure about the cure - but I think it's more real for Joel to say in that moment that there was a cure - cause he would do it anyway. Great episode so real, and glad they kept so much from the game. It's a surprise they did the porch scene there since it happens elsewhere in the game (no spoilers), but I feel it fitted really well. - no idea where they're going to end episode 7. But lets see it!
