302 - Work Work.
🕑 Added 2023-11-13 19:15:48 +0000 UTCI am typing this on my phone because I got locked out of my patreon account. Patreon decided to send a varefication link to my email, but something went wrong and I am just not getting any links. This type of thing used to happen quite often in the past, I've been told that their filter marks my email address as suspicious or something and it becomes impossible for me to recieve emails from patreon. I already contacted the support.
I am still loged in on my phone though, so that is how I am typing these words right now (using a bluetooth keyboard)-- by using my phone. As you might imagine this is an "extremly convenient" way to do this, and is not annyong at all.
By the way, here is a photo of Queen Trainer running on my 43 inch TV. I have got to say, despite the games relatevly modest resolution (1280x720) it looks fantastic even on a screen that size :)
About the work. I actually cought a cold and had to spend a couple of days drinking soup and sleeping it off. I managed to recover fairly quickly though, so I was also to get some work done as well. Still working on the New Year's event. Mostly finishing up the arts assets.
Also getting sick gave me some time to reflect on the amount of work that I still ahead of me. Basically I came to a conclusion that I need to get serious about tiying up all the lose ands and getting the game ready for the beta release in a timely manner. You guys are very patient with me and I need to make sure I don't abuse your patiance!
Also I recorded a rather lengthy video of me inking some stuff, but had no time to edit it. I'll try to do it this week and release it next Monday.
That is all I have to say for now. I hope the login issue will be resolved by next Monday -_-

EDIT: I have access again. All is good.

sorry too late the comment, when I have a cold I try things like Vodka and orange juice. I'm logic is the alcohol should kill germs and orange juice has vitamin c so should be good for you. Not scientifically proven :)

Thanks. Coming Soon* XD

I have some plans for her. But first things first.

Thank you for your kind words. As usual :)

Thanks, Nepurin. By now everything has been resolved and it's business as usual again. All is good.

Thanks Trevor. Everything got resolved in a matter of a few days. Not a big deal, really. Thank you for your support, as usual.

Heh... Yes, we all have our good-old-days that we wish we could revisit. The days when everything was just a little bit less complicated ^^

cant wait to play your game AKA looks awesome i hope january or so would be great ^^

It's not only Patreon at this point is it? Sometimes I feel like the entire world has gone backwards and everything is made as inconvenient as possible T_T I won't let it stop me though. Queen Trainer coming soon*

Yes. It is getting more and more ridiculous with every passing year. Last week I could not log in to my EMAIL because they needed to verify my identity. I refuse to give them my phone number so they sent a link to my back up email, I try login to my back up email and it does the same thing only sending a link to my main email. Good thing I was still logged in on my phone so I was able to open the link there. Hating this so much -_-

You draw the best April OβNeil. I hope one day we see a series revolving around her.

I don't know which is worse, the cold or drinking soup... π± Well, the truth is, some soups can be good. Personally, when I have a cold, I take the opportunity to play your games again ;-) The picture on the TV looks great, and even though there's still a lot of work to be done, it must be a pleasure to see the results of your work this way. Can't wait to see the inking video next week!
Nepurin
Man, I hope your login issues will be resolved soon. Sorry to hear about your illness, but I am glad that you recovered quickly. The screenshots look great and I can't wait to try out the game (when it is ready of course). All the best, as always
Danlorn
Glad you got well so soon, sir. Cuz you're not allowed to be sick π«

Glad you recovered from the sickness quickly! I hope you get your Patreon woes sorted quickly, that kind of thing is SUPER annoying it's true. Keep up the good work though, that looks great!

Looks really cool on the big screen. Man I haven't broken out my Bluetooth keyboard since my college days using a Motorola Atrix, it had a dock and could be side-loaded with Ubuntu so I used it to take notes. I do not miss those days

Thank god patreon is protecting you by not sending you a recovery email, how brilliant of them! Happy to see this didnβt make you miss the Monday post aka, I hope it resolves soon!

Duck security, we are so secure that we can't use our stuff, hope it gets fixed soon, all the work looks very promising, great job!
