244 - Hurt My Back.
🕑 Added 2022-10-03 12:00:07 +0000 UTCThe Life. Well, the tittle says it all. I was being stupid and has thrown my back out. The most annoying part is that it's in the shoulder blades area, which means not only it hurts to sit, but it also hurts a bit when I move my arms.
It's all good though. I'm sure it'll go away by itself, but I also plan to go see a doctor just to be sure. The only downside is that yet again I have some unexpected crap stopping me from being more productive. But that's life for you.
The fun. As I was trying to move less for the last couple of days I finally had time to watch some TV-Shows. I have no interest in any TV-Shows produced in the west these days, so I decided to look for alternatives. Usually I look towards Japan for this, but this time I did something different and started with a show called "Dva Holma" (Two Hills). It's a Russian series that tells a story of a women-only society and a men-only societies trying to co-exist. It's very traditional and also makes fun of a lot of modern day idiocy. Also it has a lot of likable characters. The only downside is that it's in Russian and I doubt it will ever get translated into English. But in case you are curious here is a trailer: https://youtu.be/4aPYVXeHVyM
YouTube. You can find first two episodes on YouTube for free. I checked and auto-translate subtitles work but that's about it, no official English subtitles. I am aware that most likely nobody reading this is going to watch this show, but it's really a shame. It's good show, with interesting ideas like, for example, women-activists of the future organizing protests holding signs "Men's Life Matter" :) Anyway, first two episodes are here: https://youtu.be/y3xr_mxqBl4
The work. Well, believe it or not, I am getting a lot of things done (despite anything). Spent big portion of the week coding, and after that moved on to illustrating the problem outcomes for Jasmine's training part. In case you don't remember, the Jasmine's bit will work like this: Jasmine presents you with a problem and you suggest her one of three solutions. A few days later Jasmine does as you said and you are able to see how exactly the issue got resolved. Basically I need 3 images representing each of the outcomes, and there will be around 28 problems in the game. In other words this will require some work. (Hopefully my back will get better sooner -_-).
And that is about it. Thank you for your support.
Love you all.

I watched RRR. It was quite an experience. I also watched "Son of Sardaar". Can you recomend any shows?

Oh yeah, I keep hearing about how korean shows are really good. I plan to give the whole thing a try eventually!
AKAMAN
I didn't think of that... Oh well, maybe it's for the better, maybe one day it will get proper subtitles and you will be able to watch it whole. ^^
AKAMAN
Thanks, man.

I'll do my best. ^^

It's really hard to take breaks when you are in the zone. But I better learn to do it before, since it seems like a smart thing to do at this point.

I usually prefer subtitles, but even for me subtitles can become a nuisance fast when I am eating and watching ^^ As for my back, it's much better. Thank you for your concern, man.

You know, I'm glad you're making good progress despite your back injury. And thanks for the recommendation about Two Hills, I think this series is worth watching

Oh, I'm very, very sorry that you hurt your back, oh, the area of the shoulder blades is such a sore spot, I understand you... Get well soon!

I've been catching up on my Bollywood shows, they're crazy, colourful and damn entertaining lol! I really recommend 'RRR'. It's a bit propaganda-y but quite the wild ride.

As a Westerner I, too, have no interest in the garbage they are presenting. Korea has been offering some pretty great fare with the added bonus of allowing hot Asian women to be hot Asian women, so at least there's that. Feel better soon my friend!
Bonifacio Mario Peña Jr.
Well I'll watch the show. Wonder what to do after I finish the two episodes. Get well soon man.

Good luck with the back issue, dude! I wish you the best! Take care and keep safe!

Here is hoping the back sorts itself out, with maybe a bit of light exercise to keep you healthy. As for the Russian show yeah unlikely I'd watch it I tend to also watch anime english dubbed. I'm not against watching subtitles but I mostly only have time to watch shows while eating and I find the looking away to my food I tend to lose something in the subtitles.
