I do believe that books and movies exist for a reason whether it’s dark romance, age gaps, etc. It’s like a mirror to our own desires and curiosities. Then again, people LOVEEE drama and mess especially from celebrity trauma. We never hear from Beyoncé or whoever else is super private, so when we got Lemonade, it woke people up to potential drama and mess and trauma. But when she caved back into her music, people got “bored”. Same with Jennette. Once people got “bored” from IGMMD, she created this new book based on more trauma. A cycle that never ends.

not to make a reddit commenter "hi, csa survivor here!" ass comment but. i agree she is cashing in on retraumatizing herself and it upsets me, so im removing myself from interacting beyond this. i absolutely think youre right that shes allowed to do whatever the hell she wants. and sure this could be part of her healing journey, who am i to say. but ME? im not gonna be there, i wish her well. im frustrated that ill have to hear all about this in future small talk like its not horribly triggering but cest la vie...

I agree with parts of this but Im interested how they will turn the memoir into a series. I also am a fan of age gap relationships in books. I will see myself to therapy tho lmaoo
