I ended up noticing very later on towards the end of the episode, I was really confused at first but it all makes sense now, cannot wait for episode 9!

Hope you realize later but the was Armin in the airship in the fancy new ODM costume, the person in the guard's uniform in a previous episode wasn't Armin :D He got picked up post collossal. Hange Zoe was talking about the ghost of Erwin helping him come up with the plan fitting in thematically with him being chosen over Erwin.
