Dance of the Warrior Princess (Kirito TG) Part 3
🕑 Added 2025-09-14 21:00:03 +0000 UTCThe soft clink of porcelain echoed gently through the room as Klein set down his tea cup. It was his third, maybe fourth refill… he’d lost track somewhere between Kirara’s divine fingerwork on his shoulders and the way her voice practically melted into the background music of the base.
He sat back on the tatami mat, half-lidded, completely relaxed. “Okay, you’re either a demon sent to tempt me, or the best plugin this game’s ever made,” he mumbled, the words slurred with comfort as Kirara’s fingers worked their magic down his neck.
She leaned over slightly, enough for her long black hair to cascade across his shoulder. “I am whatever my master desires me to be,” she said with a smile in her voice. “But I do appreciate the compliment.”
Klein tilted his head to look up at her, caught somewhere between adoration and confusion. “Seriously though… You really wanna be my girlfriend? Just like that? Still?”
Kirara giggled, a soft, melodic sound that made his stomach flutter. “My answer is, and always will be, the same,” she said sweetly. Then she leaned in just enough for her lips to brush near his ear, her voice dropping to a purr:
“You are my master. I would do anything for my master. Anything~”
She winked as she pulled away, veil fluttering faintly with the motion.
Klein chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of his neck. “You say that so often it’s almost normal now. Which is... probably the scariest part.”
Kirara just resumed massaging him, content, as if they’d been doing this for years. For a moment, everything was still. Peaceful.
But good things never lasted, and reality had a rude habit of being on a schedule.
Klein glanced at the in-game clock in the corner of his HUD and groaned. “Damn. It’s late. I gotta log off.”
Kirara’s hands paused for just a second. “Ah. Of course.” There was the faintest sigh under her words. “As much as I wish I could keep pleasing you all night, I would never go against your wishes, Master.”
He sat up and stretched. “I’ve got a full day of work tomorrow. Gotta drag my real body out of bed and pretend I’m a functional adult.”
Kirara clasped her hands together in front of her skirt. “Then… May I come over in the morning and prepare breakfast for you? Something light, energizing, and delicious to help you start your day?” Her eyes sparkled. “I’ve already bookmarked several healthy recipes~”
Klein blinked. “Wait. Like in real life?”
She tilted her head. “Of course. Where else?”
Klein stared at her for a long moment, then laughed awkwardly. “Yeah, sure, why not. You’ve already broken enough laws of reality, might as well make me eggs too.”
Kirara beamed. “Then it’s a promise! I shall prepare the best breakfast you’ve ever had. You will love waking up to me.”
Klein was already halfway to the logout menu, trying to shake the warm fuzziness in his chest. “You’re… something else, Kirara. Good night, my in-game waifu.”
She bowed gracefully. “Sleep well, Master Klein. May your dreams be peaceful… and filled with me~”
With a shimmer of light, Klein vanished from the base.
A moment later, Kirara followed, logging out with a smile that could have set the sky on fire.
Klein pulled off his AmuSphere with a tired groan and let it drop onto the nightstand with a soft clunk. The ceiling above him came into view, plain and familiar… and definitely not filled with two-meter-tall bombshell warrior princesses in secretary skirts. He blinked a few times, trying to process what he’d just experienced.
“That was… one hell of a session,” he muttered aloud, rubbing his eyes. “Seriously, what even was today?”
Kirito, his longtime friend, the black swordsman, the broody beater himself, was just… gone. No in-game records, no name tags, no chat history. In his place was Kirara: Tall, sexy, terrifyingly competent, and so devoted she might’ve rewritten the definition of loyalty just by existing. And yet…
Fighting alongside her had felt exactly like partying with Kirito. The instincts. The rhythm. The way she guarded his back without even being asked.
Klein sat up, shaking his head. “Same soul… new packaging? God, what kind of cursed gacha pull was that?”
Still mulling it over, he reached for his phone to check the time, and froze mid-swipe.
Kirito’s contact… was gone.
No “Kirigaya Kazuto.” No “Kirito - Don’t Call Unless It’s a Raid.”
Just: Kirara
Same contact photo space, now blank. Same chat thread, but it had been renamed, as if it always had been that way.
A new message had just come in.
[Kirara]
“Hey there, master <3 I’ll come over tomorrow half an hour before you need to leave for work. Sleep well~”
Klein stared at the screen. “Yep,” he mumbled, “That sure sounds like her.”
Still, he couldn’t stop the laugh that bubbled up, tired and disbelieving. “No way. That’s just the game screwing with me, right? Some sort of elaborate event thing? Bug? Weird shared delusion?” He tossed the phone aside onto his nightstand. “Whatever. Tomorrow I’ll wake up, Kirito’ll be back, everything’ll be boring and normal again.”
With a resigned sigh, he shuffled under the covers, flopping onto his side. But a small, ridiculous smile tugged at his lips.
Still couldn’t believe she called him Master Klein with a straight face.
He closed his eyes, warmth still lingering in his chest from the dreamlike day he’d somehow lived through.
“Definitely just a dream. Gotta be.”
And with that final thought, Klein drifted off to sleep… completely unaware that reality had already shifted, and it wasn’t done yet.
—
Klein’s morning started wrong.
He wasn’t woken by his alarm clock, or even by the usual sunlight sneaking through the blinds. No, today, it was the sharp ring of his doorbell that pulled him from a half-dream about raid loot and beef bowls. Groggy and still half-asleep, he rubbed his eyes and mumbled, “Postal service? Maybe the neighbor again?”
Dragging himself out of bed, he shuffled down the hallway, yawning as he glanced through the peephole—
—and froze.
Standing outside his door was a two-meter-tall goddess in casual clothes.
Long, jet-black hair spilled in perfect waves past her shoulders. Her cropped shirt, which definitely wasn’t regulation casual wear, showed off a set of lean, ridiculously toned abs. Abs that looked like they’d been sculpted in some divine blacksmith’s forge. High-waist jeans clung to her legs in a way that left nothing to imagination, and her posture was perfectly straight, perfectly confident, and was the kind that made you feel like you were the one who’d dressed wrong today.
Klein’s brain just… stalled. Nothing processed. His breath caught somewhere between “who is that” and “why does she look like she’s here to pick me up and break me in half.”
She didn’t even fidget. Just stood there, tall and impossibly patient, hands clasped loosely in front of her. It wasn’t until she tilted her head slightly and spoke that his mental gears lurched back into motion.
“Master Klein? Are you awake?”
That did it. He basically tore the door open, heart pounding.
“Y-yeah! I mean… wait. Master?”
The woman blinked, then dipped her head slightly with a faint, polite smile.
“Ah! My apologies. Hello there, Klein. It’s great to see you~”
Oh. Oh no. There was no mistaking that voice.
Klein could only stare, taking in the full sight of her now that the door wasn’t in the way. She was… even taller than he remembered. In-game she’d looked massive, sure… but here? She might as well have been a damn Amazon. Her shadow swallowed his hallway. He had to look up just to meet her eyes, which gleamed with the same gentle gold hue he’d seen on his HUD last night.
He muttered under his breath, “She’s… bigger than the patch notes…”
Kirara tilted her head again, the motion graceful but curious. “Uhm… Klein? May I come in and start cooking? If you’d prefer to keep looking at me, I don’t mind… but you don’t have much time before work, and I’d love to have breakfast ready for you.”
Klein’s mouth opened, closed, opened again like a broken vending machine.
“You—cooking—here—what—this is—how are you—”
Kirara simply smiled, one hand resting lightly on her hip, her head tilting just so. “Shall I take that as a yes, Master—”
She paused, caught herself, and corrected with visible effort.
“I mean, Klein.”
Her voice dropped slightly, a hint of apology slipping in around the edges of her smile. “I-I know I shouldn’t call you that in public. I just…” She trailed off, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. “It feels strange not saying it. Like I’m pretending not to care about you as much as I do.”
That hit Klein square in the chest. For all her confidence and towering presence, she looked… genuinely worried. Like she thought he might turn her away for using the wrong word.
He blinked, shoulders dropping slightly. “No, I’m not mad. Just… surprised. You showing up in real life kind of short-circuited my expectations.”
Kirara’s expression brightened instantly, golden eyes sparkling with joy. “Oh! Then I haven’t displeased you?”
Klein exhaled with a weak laugh. “You’re standing on my front porch looking like a fitness model wrapped around a fantasy novel cover and offering to cook for me. No. You haven’t displeased me.”
Her smile bloomed, radiant and unstoppable. “Wonderful~ Then may I come in, Klein?”
He stepped aside slowly, still reeling. “Yeah… yeah, come in. Just try not to break the ceiling fan or something.”
Kirara stepped inside with the fluid grace of a trained dancer. Even in her casual clothes, she somehow made it feel like royalty had entered the apartment.
The moment Kirara stepped inside, she kicked off her shoes with practiced grace and made a beeline for the kitchen like she’d lived there her whole life.
Klein followed at a cautious distance, still trying to reconcile the fact that this statuesque fantasy woman, who could probably bench-press a car, was now humming softly in his real-world apartment while rummaging through his fridge, as well as the bag she brought along.
She moved with fluid efficiency, her ponytail swaying with each step as she pulled out containers, clinked utensils together, and began assembling ingredients like she’d rehearsed it a hundred times. Miso soup simmered on the stove in no time. Prepped rice was steaming in the microwave before Klein could even ask where she’d found it. A small selection of fruity side dishes, apple slices, pickled plums, strawberries, appeared on the counter like magic.
She didn’t stop moving for a second. No hesitation, no fumbling. Just clean, elegant movements that somehow turned his modest kitchen into a full-blown culinary studio.
And less than ten minutes later, she spun on her heel and declared brightly,
“Alright~ It’s ready!”
Klein, now seated at his dining table still in his T-shirt and sleep pants, could only stare in awe as Kirara carried out everything. From bowls to trays, tea, miso, rice, fruit… Balanced expertly in her arms like a high-end waitress with the strength of a freight train. She placed a portion in front of him, then another equally large one in front of the seat across from him.
Big portions. Very big.
Klein blinked at his plate. “Uh… this is… wow. I haven’t had a breakfast like this since… I don’t even know when.”
Kirara beamed, folding her legs under the table as she sat across from him. “You work hard, Master… I mean, Klein.” She winked playfully. “You deserve something proper in the mornings.”
He eyed the spread again. “There’s no way I can finish all this.”
Kirara giggled, already lifting her chopsticks with excitement.
“Don’t worry about it. I’ll eat any leftovers. A big girl like me can never get enough food! Hehehe~”
Klein stared at her for a second, then shrugged. “I’m definitely not arguing with that.”
She grinned, lifting her hands. “Ready?”
He nodded. “Ready.”
Together, their voices rang out in perfect sync:
“Itadakimasu!”
And with that, they began to eat, Klein slowly, still in disbelief at how good everything tasted, and Kirara cheerfully demolishing her portion with the energy of someone twice her already ridiculous size. The kitchen was filled with the warm clinking of dishes, the faint sound of chewing, and the unshakable sense that, somehow, this wild fantasy had become the most comfortable morning of his life.
—
It had been two years since that day. The one with the doorbell, the miso soup, and the towering goddess who claimed to be his loyal servant. Somehow, that bizarre dream of a day had turned into his everyday reality.
Klein adjusted his collar as he entered the softly lit banquet hall, trying to ignore the weight of the fancy name tag clipped to his chest. A company dinner party wasn’t exactly his idea of a good time, but tonight, he didn’t mind. Not with Kirara gliding silently beside him, towering like some divine sculpture in a sleek black dress that clung to her statuesque frame like it had been tailored by angels. Heads turned wherever they walked, and Klein had long since stopped pretending not to notice.
Kirara stayed close, but never clingy, just there, graceful and radiant, her golden eyes always tracking him like he was the only person in the room.
It wasn’t long before his boss cornered him near the hors d’oeuvres table, sipping from a glass of wine and eyeing Kirara like she’d stepped out of a fantasy novel.
“So,” the boss said, adjusting his glasses. “You’re going to have to tell me everything about her. Who is this young lady? And how the hell did you land her?”
Klein chuckled, not even offended. He glanced over his shoulder at Kirara, who was quietly watching him, hands clasped politely in front of her, expression unreadable but eyes full of affection.
“Well,” Klein started, “We met online. In Sword Art Online, actually.”
The boss blinked. “The VR game gone wrong?”
“Yup. We fought monsters, partied up a lot, grew closer over time, survived together… and eventually, yeah, we started dating. She moved in with me almost a year ago.”
“She’s a bit younger than me,” Klein added, “but she recently finished her makeup college degree for the victims of that game. So she is super talented, too.”
The boss gave an approving nod. “And now?”
Klein smiled, lifting his hand to show the simple silver band on his finger. “Engaged. For three months now.”
The boss let out a low whistle. “Well, damn. Color me impressed.”
Then his gaze slid over to Kirara, who had been quietly standing nearby the entire time, radiant and still as a statue. “And you?” he asked, half-joking. “How much do you like this guy? He treating you right?”
For a second, Kirara said nothing.
Then, without warning, she stepped forward, eyes locked on Klein with a glow that hadn’t dulled a bit in two years.
“The absolute best ma—” she caught herself just in time, voice softening. “Boyfriend anyone could wish for.”
Before Klein could react, she swept him up into her arms like he weighed nothing, lifting him effortlessly until his face was level with hers. The room gasped. His boss choked on his drink.
Kirara smiled, eyes sparkling.
“And I love him.”
And then, right there in front of his stunned coworkers, she kissed him… long, deep, and without a shred of hesitation.
Klein blinked once, twice, and then melted into the kiss, arms wrapping around her neck like it was the most natural thing in the world.
What a phenomenal start to a work party.
