Overinflated Misstep (Partial Pooltoyification TF)
🕑 Added 2025-08-22 21:00:04 +0000 UTC—CAMERA ON—
The shot opens a bit crooked, tilted slightly to the left as Hiros fiddles with the settings. The bright beach stretches out in the background: Golden sand, umbrellas fluttering in the breeze, and the gentle crash of waves nearby. Someone shouts “Woooo!” in the distance. The screen levels out as Hiros steadies the camera.
Hiros (behind the camera):
"Alright, day three of beach week. Supposedly there’s a hidden sea cavern at the north end of the coast, and today we’re gonna find it. I've got the camera, Nicole has... Five beach snacks and a questionable sunhat..."
Nicole (off-camera, loudly):
"Excuse you, it’s called beach glam, and yes, I brought chips for the road. You’re welcome."
Hiros (chuckling):
"And Wes brought the sunscreen, half the beach chairs, and possibly a grill?"
Camera pans to Wes, who’s hauling a bulky tote bag effortlessly on one shoulder and waving with the other. He’s already in flip-flops and floral swim trunks, grinning.
Wes:
"I plan ahead. I’m prepared for fun. Or a hurricane."
Hiros:
"And lastly, Savoia. Our navigator and as foxy as can be."
The camera zooms in on Savoia, her pink hair tied up in a playful ponytail, tails swishing lazily as she kicks through the sand. She flashes a peace sign and sticks out her tongue.
Savoia:
"Only slightly lost, but very beach-ready and very foxy~"
The camera follows the group as they walk along the shore, their shadows long in the mid-morning sun. Laughter and conversation drift over the sound of waves.
Nicole:
"So this cavern… What’s the bet it’s just a big rock with seaweed on it?"
Savoia:
"One way to find out. If it’s boring, I say we declare it haunted and leave mysterious carvings."
Wes (snorting):
"Last time you did that, a kid cried. Remember the ‘Ghost Kelp of Seaside Cliff’?"
Hiros:
"It was one piece of wet rope..."
Nicole:
"And a very convincing moan, thank you very much."
They pass a strange object half-buried in the sand ahead. Hiros zooms in as they approach: a large, colorful plastic ring, almost like a hula hoop, but wider and a bit thicker, with odd seams around the edge. It glints slightly under the sun.
Nicole (eyeing it):
"Okay, what in dollar-store beach toy hell is that?"
Wes (squinting):
"Maybe it’s from a giant’s gym set. Y'know, beach gods need leg day too."
Hiros (zooming in):
"It’s definitely not standard. Looks kinda old… or weirdly clean?"
Savoia (already stepping closer):
"Hey, I used to be really good at hula hooping. Bet I could still spin it."
Nicole (grinning):
"With or without the help of your tail to keep it upright?"
Savoia:
"Hey! I was legit good in the past! I’ll show you! You better capture this on camera so Nicole eats her own words."
Nicole (half-laughing):
"We’ll see about that Go and show us, you foxy little hula dancer"
Savoia flashes a wink at the camera, now standing right next to the ring. Her feet shuffle playfully in the sand as the others gather around behind her.
She steps into the strange plastic ring buried in the sand. She wiggles her toes in the center, smirks confidently, then bends at the waist to grab the sides. Sand shifts beneath her feet.
She pulls the hoop upward. It passes her ankles, then her knees, gliding up like a curtain being drawn on a magic trick no one agreed to.
In an instant, everything changes.
The ring clears her thighs…
…and her legs swell outward.
Not like muscle. Not like fat. Like air. Like someone had flipped a switch and turned her from flesh and fur to glossy, squeaky, inflatable plastic.
Her dainty and light skin vanishes under a spreading vinyl sheen: Dark blue and pink, patterned with big dino-toes and cartoonish scale prints. Her calves balloon first, then her thighs, everything was rounding, smoothing, creaking. The sand around her feet displaces as her size triples in an instant. Her lower half towers, huge and cartoonish, the seams on her sides glinting in the sun.
Her tail twists, twitches, then elongates. A long, thick tail explodes behind her, hissing into form with an audible whomp of displaced air. It flops onto the sand behind her, a massive inflatable orca tail, shiny and ridiculous, twitching slightly as it stabilizes.
Her legs no longer resemble anything human. They’re plastic dino legs now. Rounded knees, inflated claws, printed-on scales and all. There are even white handles stuck into her inflated hips like she’s a ride-on pool toy.
That was about the moment Savoia noticed that something was wrong. Her eyes went wide as she literally looked down on all of her friends around her, her face twisting more and more from moment to moment.
With a shriek of panic, she lets go.
But the ring doesn’t drop.
It’s stuck, jammed just beneath where her hips have inflated to a ridiculous size. Her lower half is easily three meters tall now and at least five times larger than her normal frame. A soft rubbery wobble rolls through her as her weight settles. Her upper body is still Savoia… but everything below is beach toy.
A beat passes. Everyone stares.
Nicole (off-camera, genuinely stunned):
“...Oh my god.”
Wes (urgent):
“Turn the camera off!”
Hiros:
“Got it.”
—CAMERA OFF—
—CAMERA ON—
The video opens this time with Nicole in frame, holding the camera at arm’s length like a seasoned vlogger. Her big brown sunglasses reflect the beach behind her, and the breeze ruffles her sunhat slightly.
Nicole (to camera):
“Okay, hi, quick update. It’s been like... fifteen minutes since Savoia decided to challenge ancient plastic beach gods and lost. We are currently en route back to the beach house. Hiros is gonna text his sister once we get there. Probably the best idea since she is quite good with magical stuff. If you know why, you know why.”
The camera pans briefly to show Savoia walking ahead of them across the sand.
Or rather, wobbling ahead of them.
Her top half is still Savoia: pink hair, tank top, trying very hard to look like everything is fine. But below the waist, it’s all exaggerated plastic dino-orca. Her massive inflatable legs bounce and wobble with each step, the glossy plastic glinting in the sun. Her tail drags in the sand like a deflated parade float trying to keep up.
Nicole (behind camera):
“She says she’s fine. I say she looks like someone taped a parade balloon to a Roomba.”
Savoia (flatly, off-camera):
“I'm walking like a queen, thank you.”
Wes (chuckling):
“You’re walking like a jelly donut with stage fright.”
Hiros:
“At least her stride’s efficient. She covers like two meters per step.”
Nicole (behind camera):
“Thats like six feet for everyone with a working measurement system.”
Hiros:
“You really want to open that debate again, do you?”
They continue walking. Savoia’s steps grow heavier, wobblier. Each time her foot hits the sand, there's a slight delay before the plastic catches up. Her tail bounces with less energy now, dragging more than swinging.
Nicole:
“…Wait. Wait, is she… are you deflating?”
Camera zooms in slightly on Savoia, who’s paused mid-step and turned back toward them with a guilty blush.
Savoia (reluctantly):
“…I think maybe?”
A moment of silence. Then—
Wes:
“Welp. I think Nicole has a beach boat air pump at her place. That should probably also work for you… I think. You still got that one, right?”
Nicole:
“Yup, I’ve got one in the shed from the inflatable kayak. It’s the size of a small jet engine but it’ll do the job.”
The camera sways as they pick up the pace. Savoia tries to keep up, but it’s like watching a partially deflated bounce house on stilts. Her steps are slower now, her inflatable legs sagging more with each stride, and her orca tail dragging like it's full of pudding.
Hiros (off-camera):
“She’s not gonna make it far at this rate.”
Nicole:
“Don’t say that like we’re losing her to the elements.”
—CAMERA OFF—
—CAMERA ON—
Hard cut to the wooden planks of the beach house deck. The camera is slightly shaky from laughter. It swings around to show Savoia sitting on the deck, her entire lower half completely deflated. Her dino legs are half-crumpled under her, flattened like sad plastic furniture. The tail is limp, pooling beside her like a puddle of cartoon rubber.
She’s red-faced and glaring at the camera.
Nicole (wheezing with laughter):
“She’s officially more pooltoy than fox now, folks.”
Savoia doesn’t respond. She just picks up one of Wes’s flip flops and chucks it at the camera. It spins midair and bounces off Nicole’s shoulder with a comical slap.
Savoia:
“Delete that.”
Nicole (still laughing):
“Never.”
—CAMERA OFF—
—CAMERA ON—
The video cuts back in with a low mechanical hum in the background, with something whirring loudly just offscreen. The camera focuses on Savoia, now fully standing again… and looking just a bit too tall, too shiny, and very, very inflated.
Her massive plastic dino-orca legs are fully puffed up, glossy and firm, flexing slightly with pressure. The seams along her sides are taut, and her hips have rounded out so far they could be used as dinner tables. Her tail twitches behind her like an overfilled bounce house snake.
The air pump hose dangles nearby, still hissing lightly as it finishes topping her off.
Nicole (off-camera):
“And we’re back, folks. Savoia is back on her feet, freshly filled, fully fabulous, and functionally… uh… ballooned.”
Wes walks into frame, hands on hips like a proud dad who just assembled a grill.
Wes:
“Still got it. Knew I’d remember how that thing worked. Little duct tape, little improvisation, and boom, fox reinflated.”
Nicole:
“And you won’t believe where her air valve is. It’s right under—"
Before she can finish, a flip-flop whips through the air and hits her squarely in the forehead with a satisfying thwack.
Savoia:
“Don’t.”
She’s standing one step closer now, arms crossed, cheeks burning. But that’s not the part that catches everyone's attention.
SQUEEEEEAK.
The moment her foot touched the deck, the sound was unmistakable. Like a giant dog toy being stomped on.
Wes (blinking):
“First: Hey, those are my flip-flops. Second… where did that sound come from?”
Savoia takes another step. The deck creaks under her weight, but her leg lets out another perfect, pitchy—
SQUEEEEK.
Nicole chokes on a laugh, hand over her mouth.
Hiros:
“...Oh no.”
Savoia tries to pretend nothing happened. She shifts her weight again. One more step.
SQUEEAK.
Nicole (losing it):
“I—pffft—she sounds like a chew toy!”
Savoia’s blush deepens into a full scarlet glow.
SQUEEAAAK.
Nicole can’t hold it anymore, she bends over, wheezing with laughter.
Nicole:
“You’re like… you’re like one of those rubber chickens with a gym membership!”
Savoia lets out a sharp growl, but it's undercut by yet another—
SQUEEAK.
Then she lunges.
SQUEAK. SQUEEAK. SQUEEEEEK.
The camera swings wildly as Nicole yelps and bolts around the deck, laughter trailing behind her. Savoia gives chase, her giant inflatable feet thudding and squeaking with every heavy step. The camera shakes with Hiros’s snickering as he tries to keep up.
Nicole (off-camera, running):
“HELP, SHE’S GONNA BOUNCE ME INTO NEXT WEEK!”
SQUEEEAAAK. SQUEEAK. SQUEEK.
They disappear around the beach house, the sound of rubbery stomps echoing like a cartoon thunderstorm.
Wes (watching, deadpan):
“…At least we know it works now.”
Hiros:
“Yup. Although… it makes me wonder… Hey Wes, do you think we can get Savoia to try something like—”
—CAMERA OFF—
—CAMERA ON—
The camera is a bit shakier than usual this time, Wes is holding it. The shot opens on Savoia from the side, her face somewhere between deep regret and quiet amusement. Her upper body is perfectly normal (if you ignore the concerned squint in her eyes). Her lower body, however, looks like someone fused a pool float with a tide pool.
Her enormous plastic dino-orca legs are now visibly sagging and sloshing, filled entirely with water. Her tail has gone from floppy to massive, now resting in a slow-motion puddle of wobbly rubber behind her.
And on top of her butt? Err…
There Hiros was, lying stomach-first like he's sunbathing on a bouncy castle.
Nicole (off-camera, exasperated):
“How come he is allowed to do that, but I get chased to squeak town and back just for laughing!?”
Hiros (calmly, still lounging):
“Because I asked nicely.”
Savoia (matter-of-factly):
“Because he asked nicely.”
Wes (narrating, amused):
“He did, in fact, ask nicely.”
Nicole:
“Da heck?!”
The camera tilts to better capture the full ridiculousness of the moment. Hiros rests his chin on his hands like he’s on a waterbed in a hotel room circa 1993.
Wes (explaining):
“So, yeah. We filled her lower half with water. I won’t explain how, but let’s just say it involved teamwork, a lot of patience, and at least three hoses. Somehow, it worked.”
Hiros (gently bouncing in place):
“I can confirm. Your butt… It actually feels like the most comfortable waterbed I’ve ever laid on. Would recommend. 10/10."
Savoia’s eye twitches.
Savoia:
“I have… so many conflicting emotions about that verdict.”
She tries to take a step forward…
…and instantly regrets it.
Her foot lifts slowly, dragging gallons of water with it inside her wobbling plastic leg. When it lands again, it’s with a heavy SCHLOOP into the sand. The impact sends a wave rippling through her entire lower half. Her tail, hips, legs… every inflated inch of her sloshing like a sentient kiddie pool hit by a truck.
She flails.
Hiros bounces once, then slides off her rear like a cartoon character hitting a playground slide.
THUMP.
He lands in the sand, now sitting upright with a blank stare, processing his life choices.
Hiros:
“…I regret nothing.”
Nicole (bursting into laughter):
“Seems like it was worth it!”
Even Wes cracks a grin behind the camera, letting out a single soft chuckle.
Savoia (breathing out, semi-sarcastically):
“Okay. This was… fun. Super fun. Hilarious even. But I’d really like to be able to move again. Can we maybe go back to something a little less... tsunami simulator?”
There’s a beat.
Then a slow, dangerous smirk creeps into Nicole’s voice from off-camera.
Nicole:
“Ohohoho~ You want lighter? Ohhh I know just what to do”
Savoia visibly shudders.
Savoia:
“…I don’t like that tone.”
—CAMERA OFF—
—CAMERA ON—
The camera cuts back in with Nicole snickering behind it. The lens focuses on Savoia, who is once again fully reinflated. But this time, there’s something very different.
Her dino-orca lower half is now gleaming. Extra firm. Extra round. And moving with the weight and grace of a balloon at a science fair.
Savoia takes a tentative step forward…
BOUNCE.
She lifts straight off the ground and rises almost a full meter into the air before gently drifting back down. Her landing is slow and awkward, as if gravity had to check its notes first.
Savoia:
“…I hate how close I am to just floating away.”
Nicole (laughing):
“Correction. There’s no way what you are doing can be described as walking anymore. You’re most definitely moon hopping. All you need is a string tied to your tail and you’re officially parade-ready!”
Savoia tries again, taking another step, another bounce, this time spinning slightly in the air before landing sideways.
BOING.
Hiros:
“She’s like a bouncy castle with poor decision-making skills.”
Wes:
“She’s one gust of wind away from joining the seagulls.”
Savoia scowls, arms pinwheeling for balance as she lands again.
Savoia:
“This is nonsensical! I swear if I bounce into orbit, I’m taking all of you with me.”
Nicole:
“Promise?”
Another bounce. Another slow, floaty descent. Nicole's laughter turns into wheezing as she zooms in dramatically on Savoia’s feet leaving the ground.
Hiros:
“I give it ten more minutes before she starts narrating her jumps like she's an anime character mid-air.”
Savoia (deadpan):
“Foxus... Launchus... Maximus.”
BOING!!!
Wes (grinning):
“Okay, that one was pretty good.”
Another gentle BOING.
Savoia (sighing):
“Okay, okay... of everything we’ve tested today? Air is by far the best. But only if I’m not overinflated. No more water. No more helium. Just... air. Regular, boring, non-bouncy air.”
Wes:
“Not sure if all the bouncyness goes away if you are air-ed, but sure. Roger that. Come on, let’s get you back to the beach house. We’ll pump you down to ‘reasonably ridiculous’ instead of ‘weather balloon on vacation.’”
Savoia starts bouncing after him, one step at a time, each landing met with a squeaky, rubbery bounce and soft huff of air. Nicole keeps filming, giggling with every launch.
Nicole (zooming in):
“Look at that hangtime! That’s comedy gold right there. I swear I’m submitting this to Float Fail Fridays.”
Savoia (calling back):
“Turn. Off. That. Camera. Or I’ll throw another flip-flop at you!”
Nicole:
“Still worth it!”
—CAMERA OFF—
—CAMERA ON—
The shot opens to nothing but blue. The water stretches in every direction, sun sparkling on gentle waves. In the distance, the shore is barely visible, a hazy strip of sand and sky. The sound of water gently splashing and someone laughing filters in before the camera pans down and focuses on the group.
Hiros (behind the camera, narrating like a nature doc):
“Day four. The current location: the middle of the ocean. The Mission: Achieving maximum float potential. Current status: Savoia is officially the world's most luxurious inflatable vessel. Patent pending.”
The camera tilts to show Savoia floating effortlessly in the water, her massive inflatable dino-orca body bobbing gently with the waves. She looks relaxed, at peace even, with just her upper half resting above the surface while the rest of her provides enough buoyancy to rival a yacht.
Behind her, Nicole lounges proudly across Savoia’s inflatable butt like she’s on a sunbed at a five-star resort. She's got her sunglasses on and a can of something fizzy in hand.
Nicole:
“This is the life. The sea, the sun, the giant floating fox-dino-orca pool toy under my butt. Couldn’t ask for better.”
Savoia (flatly, from the water):
“Want me to shake my butt some more, so you taste the water too?”
Nicole:
“Only if you squeak when you do it.”
They both laugh.
Camera pans to Wes, who’s in the water nearby, swimming lazily alongside Savoia, occasionally pushing her gently to guide her course. He waves at the camera.
Wes:
“I do agree though. With a floating… uhm… Savoia and a boat, being out here in the middle of nowhere taking a dip is honestly quite awesome.”
Hiros (smiling):
“For safety, we tied Nicole’s inflatable boat to Savoia with some rope. In case we drift too far and she floats us to another time zone.”
The camera swings to the small inflatable boat bobbing behind them, clearly tethered to a loop near Savoia’s tail.
Nicole:
“I am the captain now.”
Savoia:
“You’re not even holding the rope.”
Nicole:
“Why would the captain hold the rope? That's the boat's task. And the captain’s task is to steer the boat~”
Savoia:
“But you are not even steering either!”
Laughter bubbles up from everyone, even Savoia, who finally seems to relax into the moment.
Hiros (softly):
“Well… this is our last full day before we head home, and yeah, it got weird. Inflatable weird. But honestly? I don’t think any of us would trade it for anything.”
There’s a beat of quiet as the water laps gently around them.
Savoia:
“It was a good vacation.”
Wes:
“Definitely memorable.”
Nicole:
“I can’t wait to review that footage~”
Savoia:
“Don’t make me throw a flip-flop in open water.”
Nicole (grinning):
“You’d have to catch me first, bounce queen.”
SQUEEEAK.
The sound rings out as Savoia makes a mock bounce in the water, sending a splash in Nicole’s direction and making her take a dive right into the open water. Everyone cracks up.
Hiros (laughing):
“Okay, okay, I think I am taking a dip too now that we are out here. Everyone alright if I’m calling this take?”
The camera lingers on the scene: The vast ocean, the floating fox-dino-orca hybrid, the drifting boat, and the laughter of four friends echoing over the waves. And three of them giving him a thumbs up. Savoia, still floating gently in the water. Wes who was holding on to her leg for support, and Nicole… Who was still underwater, but apparently wanted to reenact Terminator as she stuck her thumbs up out of the water.
Hiros:
“I would say, that was quite the successful vacation then~”

What's a good vacation with friends without a good pool toy to play with?
